I finished off the week with 30DS L1D10 & 6W6P L2D5. On to level 2 of 30DS next.

Hello all! I fell off the wagon a bit but am back. Went for a run on Monday and did 30DS level 3 badly today.

LordPeterWimsey · 20/05/2017 08:17

Glad I'm not the only one who keeps falling off the wagon!

30DS L2 done here, with 3 kg weights for the first two strength circuits: I had to go down to 2kg for the final one with the V-raises, which is the pits. I think I don't have any anterior deltoids. I haven't biked this week, except local pottering, but it's done nothing but rain so I'm going to cut myself some slack for that.

OublietteBravo · 20/05/2017 10:14

I've had a much better week than last week. I did 6W6P L1 this morning, which means I've managed to exercise for 8 days in a row for the first time in ages.

I'm currently in gym doing a kb set followed by a Thai class probably followed by complete collapse.

I am not procrastinating between lifts. No sirree.

KanyesVest · 20/05/2017 12:18

Well done Oubliette, 8 days is great.

I just ran to the gym and did a cardio boxing class. It poured rain on the run home so I'm considering PJs for the day after my shower!

PassiveAggressiveLunchbox · 20/05/2017 12:19

And welcome back Peter and Stressy!

LordPeterWimsey · 21/05/2017 09:38

30DSL2 and Ballet Beautiful abs workout done. I'm going to stick with Shred level 2 this week, and then we're on holiday for half term week so I won't do anything while we're away (except maybe a bit of the ballet stuff, which doesn't need weights or a lot of space). I might face up to Bodyshred when I get back.

RJnomore1 · 21/05/2017 10:43

I'm thinking of taking the trx on holiday with meBlush

Peter, stressy, a wee rest sometimes gives you renewed energy.

108/142 MMA circuits this morning - im worried I'm enjoying sitting knocking the stuffing out the dummy a wee bit too much!

Dh meanwhile is off running his first marathon!

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 21/05/2017 17:48

Thanks all! How did your DH do RJ?

2k junior parkrun this morning (slow as running with 4 year old!) then 4K run on my own later.

RJnomore1 · 21/05/2017 18:23

3 hours 51!Grin

Very proud.

Meanwhile I am building up to my 3k on the 4th...

KanyesVest · 21/05/2017 18:29

Well done MrRJ!

Run later, 6k planned.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 21/05/2017 18:31

Woohoo well done to him Smile.

OublietteBravo · 21/05/2017 19:13

That's a great marathon time - well done him!

I've moved up a level: 30DS L2D1. I'd forgotten how hard it is! I did half of 6W6P L1 as well.

I must've been pretty fit once upon a time - I used to do 2 levels of 30DS back-to-back. Not sure I fancy that at the moment.

Oub, in my youth I was super fit (pre kids!). Also I had a lot more spare time Grin.

5k run today.

RJnomore1 · 22/05/2017 21:52

I've ended up with an unplanned rest day and now I feel guilty. Mostly because I'm going straight out from work on Friday so I know I need it off.

I may be finding this a bit too addictive.

OublietteBravo · 22/05/2017 22:02

I had a rest day too RJ - although mine was planned.

OP posts:
LordPeterWimsey · 22/05/2017 22:07

Rest day here too - planned as I knew I wouldn't have time for exercise, I've only just finished for the day.

blodynmawr · 23/05/2017 07:20

Stil JMing here Smile.
Pre kids, throughout my 20s, I was a jog to the gym and back every day kinda gal...

KanyesVest · 23/05/2017 16:09

Gym at lunchtime, some kettle bells, light weights and core work. The place was full of macho boys men egging each other on and the only other woman was on a cardio machine at the other end of the gym. I was much more interested in watching all the showboating and preening among themselves to be really focussed on what I was doing Blush

OublietteBravo · 23/05/2017 20:01

NMTZ for me this evening. Gosh - it's really feeling warmer. I definitely need a shower.

9.5 mile run. Mostly uphill but only gradual so counts as 10 miles. 5 miles next week then 12 week after (as long runs on my half plan). Should be able to run a half race but will need to consider fuelling - had a decent lunch admittedly with a half of beer (we're on holiday!) and definitely needed my emergency fruit paw prints at about 8 miles. Might stick with them as they're easy! And I have access.

LordPeterWimsey · 23/05/2017 20:35

30DS L2 and Ballet Beautiful inner thigh workout done. Much warmer here too.

blodynmawr, I was a complete exercise avoider all through my 20s - started cycling to work when I hit 30. I don't really feel I missed out on anything through that decade of inactivity - I think wistfully of it from time to time!

RJnomore1 · 23/05/2017 22:39

Kettlebell fitness. Working hard, I did a fair bit of the class with the 24kg bell. Just not presses. Yet.

I did no exercise until after I was 30. I walked I suppose.

OublietteBravo · 24/05/2017 19:06

30DS L2D2 & 6W6P L1D1.
