Still JMing here. Various holidays coming up in May, July and August (5.5 weeks in total) so keen to keep up the routine through May and June!

KanyesVest · 09/05/2017 17:56

Finally got some proper exercise today, weights workout at the gym. Did build a patio over the weekend if I can count that??

RJnomore1 · 09/05/2017 19:04

I think building a patio definitely counts!

Kettlebell fitness
98/152

I'm getting excited, nearing three figures 😁

LordPeterWimsey · 09/05/2017 19:42

Killer Body core workout done, plus DD wanted to do something with weights so we did a ten minute Popsugar upper body workout from YouTube (which was pretty bad: half the time the camera was focused on the curtains!). Planning to bike again tomorrow.

Kanye, building a patio absolutely counts!

OublietteBravo · 10/05/2017 18:36

I'm not really sure whether or not to count yesterday. I didn't do any of my DVDs. I did walk about 5 miles though. I'll consider it a rest day.

Anyway, back to normal this evening: 30DS L2D7 & 6W6P L2D3.5

Biked to work and back, so now hit biking target for this week (40 miles, 4 hours - maybe I'll track my miles on here, it might make me feel a bit less gloomy about my pathetic attempts at staying fit). It's not very warm here, but warm enough for cycling to feel like a pleasure rather than a penance.

LordPeterWimsey · 11/05/2017 20:25

Yoga Meltdown L1 and Ballet Beautiful outer thigh workout done. Two more workouts to do this week to meet target.

RJnomore1 · 11/05/2017 23:28

ENded up with two rest days. Just done in by the time I got out of work last night and then off to see a band tonight. Slightly stressed!! Will work extra hard tomorrow to make up.

OublietteBravo · 12/05/2017 18:48

Another unplanned rest day yesterday. Not doing very well this week!

NMTZ this evening.

(75h 40min; 97/153).

99/151

I'll hit 100 tomorrow with colour me rad in Glasgow which is quite nice Smile

DeliciousIrony · 12/05/2017 19:56

Whoops, so a weekend off turned into a week off...easing in again with Killer Abs L1 yesterday, and Killer Buns and Thighs L1 today.

Good luck with Colour Me Rad RJ Smile

OublietteBravo · 13/05/2017 11:50

Exercising on my usual rest day in an attempt to make up for my lack of exercise during the week: 6W6P L1.

(76h 15min; 98/152).

I've beaten you to the 100 oub! Really enjoyed colour me rad despite grim weather, we had a laugh, my calves hurt but held out n my cardio is sooo much better. We've got a few more fun runs we are going to sign up for now.

100/150

Next marker half way!

KanyesVest · 13/05/2017 17:15

I've had a migraine since Wednesday so I didn't get to do much more than bed, work, kids, bed for the last few days. I just went for a 5k walk though and planning a run tomorrow. I really better get my ass back into running mode, I've a 10k in about 3 weeks Confused

Happy weekend everyone.

OublietteBravo · 13/05/2017 18:44

Well done RJ Star - 100 days of exercise already. I should hit that target this week.

Race you to the half way mark of 125 days! Grin

MMA/circuits this morning.

I am having a bad day. First of all I was an hour early for my hair appointment then I walked out of the hairdressers on a lovely sunny day, it started spitting, by the time I got to the car it was hail and torrential rain and now I look like a drowned rat. I had lovely swisher hair ten minutes ago.

randomsabreuse · 14/05/2017 19:03

10k trail run this morning. Lots of hills which I struggled up, steep steps which were horrible but on the positive side I am now much more confident on uneven ground and downhill and I kept up a decent cadence.

Realistically need to build in more strength and more hill repeats to my exercise programme. Fortunately (well possibly fortunately) hill repeats can be done first thing on a nice isolated farm track a sensible warm up jog from the house. Issue is definitely time. Getting 4 running sessions a week including long runs is hard with DH's long hours and on call.

Probably going to go out with the slowest running club group tomorrow to see if I can actually run that slowly. I seem to struggle with my first hill of the run - calves and hamstrings just seem to seize up - and then I'm ok for the rest. Running slowly does seem to jar my knees quite badly though - much worse than going marginally quicker, especially downhill!

OublietteBravo · 14/05/2017 19:14

Evening session for me today as I was too hungover from Eurovision to do a morning one

30DS L1D8 & 6W6P L2D4

RJnomore1 · 14/05/2017 19:18

Random if I run too slowly it hurts my calves more and dhs physio told him not to slow his pace as it changes his gait and hurts his assorted leg problems more so watch out for side effects.

Hill runs. Eep!! Brave.

randomsabreuse · 14/05/2017 21:42

I think I need to slow down gradually for long slow run purposes, or just get fitter so my fast run pace is faster...

The issue is definitely gait changes, wrong strike point and cadence getting too slow losing the spring if I go too slow (other than up my first hill!) It's like how walking at toddler speed is more tiring than walking much faster at grown up speed!

RJnomore1 · 14/05/2017 22:56

That's a good explanation!

RJnomore1 · 15/05/2017 19:20

Kettlebell training myself tonight with the online programme my coach has given me. Sore hands happy face 😁 I like my gym there's always a pal in somewhere to have a chat with, leaves me feeling good.

102/148

I'm actually starting to believe I can do this now.

OublietteBravo · 15/05/2017 20:10

A reluctant 6W6P L1 from me this evening, but at least it takes me to 100 days.

The reluctant ones are the ones that count the most I always think oub. Well done!
