Had a week off as a holiday staying in friends' houses and mostly sharing with DD isn't great for exercise dvds. Managed lots of walks with dogs though.

Tomorrow I'm back on the exercise and planning an experimental run around the block after I have filled all the airers with washing!

MMA circuits then I bullied a couple of people into week 3 of couch to 5k.

KanyesVest · 05/03/2017 22:39

18k steps and a barre ballet video from YouTube today. Being away is a pita for exercise.

OublietteBravo · 06/03/2017 19:43

I confess I was a bit lazy today - I did a shorter circuit (Killer Abs L1). Still, better than nothing - and nothing any longer was going to fit around DS's parents evening.

15k steps today mostly carrying about 10kg of filming equipment and I'm on train on way home from a killer hour of kettlebells.

Hi everyone, sounds more efficient than lazy Oub if that was what would fit in Smile. RJ, did I read right that you are trying out for a Scottish team? Wow! Kanye, I always had deams of being a ballerina :). Can anyone recommend any good ballet type workouts with a fair bit of cardio in them?

20 min run today while DD2 at activity then 10 min HIIT workout at home. Felt much better this time as arrived back 5 mins before activity finished rather than running in flustered at the end of it. Think it's worth making that 5 mins exercise up at home to have a chance to have a sip of water, stretch etc before going straight into pick up.

KanyesVest · 06/03/2017 22:55

I got in 4km this morning. Trains, planes and automobiles tomorrow, so other than running through airports, I probably won't manage much.

I just put barre ballet into YouTube, Stressy, but I'd love a recommendation too if anyone has any.

OublietteBravo · 07/03/2017 20:01

Back up to 50 min this evening: Ri30 L4D2 abd half of 6W6P L1.

Body Rev workout 7 done - hoping to get back into the swing of it this week as the knee's much better. I was going to bike to work tomorrow but the forecast is for rain all day.

TooStressy, the Ballet Beautiful workouts are good but don't really have any cardio. Effective though: you really know you've worked.

blodynmawr · 07/03/2017 21:15

KBFF today and yesterday but yet another bad weekend weather wise so not much outdoor exercise done....Sad Well done all of you bikers and runners who regularly brave the outdoors - you deserve a Star and are made of sterner stuff than me!
Early start tomorrow for work so unlikely to be posting again until later in the week...

RJnomore1 · 07/03/2017 21:35

Worked a bit late tonight so went and did some cycling/weights/ etc myself and did ok. Very tired though.

Yes stressy I did say aboutvtrying for the Scotland team, it's not as impressive as it sounds as an amateur it's just meetingvthe minimum requirements rather than beating anyone. But I was always the last picked at school for anything, I was the least sporty most bookish child ever, and to be able to qualify would be huge for me at 40.

Kanye safe journey home! Well done everyone keeping going.

OublietteBravo · 08/03/2017 19:31

Back to NMTZ. I seem to have more energy than usual tonight, but still decided that 50 min was long enough.

Took my god daughter for a jog. Managed 4K so quite pleased at that.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 08/03/2017 22:07

Thanks guys will investigate some ballet stuff maybe. RJ, still sounds very impressive to me! Did 30DS yesterday with DD2 joining in on and off. Must move back up to level 3 again!

OublietteBravo · 09/03/2017 19:36

Cardio this evening - BFBM. I'm sooooo hungry - no idea why (I've been eating as normal). Time to go and investigate the contents of the fridge...

Colds worse again. Nil return and an early night here.

RJnomore1 · 10/03/2017 18:50

Feeling a bit better so made it in for my PT. lower weights and higher reps cos I'm a bit under the weather. 140 squats and 120 step ups anyone??

And now I'm at 50/200

Tomorrow breaks the 200 yassss!

OublietteBravo · 10/03/2017 19:02

Well done RJ Star

Is it wrong that I'm still feeling guilty that I'm not on track for 300 days this year? Even though I've set myself a different target?

I did Ri30 L4D3 (which is not going to become a favourite workout) and half of 6W6P L1 (which already is). Planning a rest day tomorrow.

(44h 30min; 55/195)

Time for curry and wine. Happy weekend everyone Grin

Planned rest day yesterday. NMTZ this morning. My lower back is niggling - I'll see how it feels tomorrow.

MMA circuits this morning. I'm in pain! Not bad pain - doms- but my god my arse and thighs. Not recovered from Friday and today's been a killer.

Rested yesterday so I'm almost back fighting fit.

51/199

Oub I hope your back is just a niggle

DeliciousIrony · 12/03/2017 17:17

Oubliette You're doing brilliantly, definitely don't feel guilty! 300 days was impressive but must have been quite restrictive, I like the sound of the target that you've set this year.

LordPeter Glad you're feeling better!

I'm really annoyed with myself for lagging a bit lately. I had a weekend away last week, and then a couple of failure of willpower on some days. I was due to begin week 8 of Body Rev today, but I had an awful night due to period pain and feeling sick too much wine and pizza. Today the furthest I have managed to move was to the supermarket, and I've eaten crap all day.

I am hoping for a better night and much better week this week.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 12/03/2017 22:38

Oub, I think feeling guilty is inevitable in life! You really shouldn't though - you are an inspiration Smile.

5k run this morning.

RJnomore1 · 13/03/2017 18:36

Kettlebell coaching class tonight. Happy bunny waiting for the train home.

I think I definitely get lifters high or whatever it's called!

OublietteBravo · 13/03/2017 20:18

Aw - thanks everyone Blush. I'll try not to feel guilty. I'm perfectly happy with my 2017 target.

But if a lazy evening for me - just a 30 min Killer Abs L1. It's a really busy week for me (the DC have at least one activity every evening). So I'm not sure how much exercise I'll fit in.

Body Rev workout 7 today - didn't feel quite as hard this go around, so that must be a good thing??
