Had yesterday off, I was just done in. Realised I'm premenstrual do energy and motivation are both pretty low.

Kettlebell fitness tonight though and it was a killer, really tough class.

Tomorrow is March. This thread has been running for 2 months already - and is still going strong. Well done everyone - great perseverance Star

I finished off February with BFBM. It hasn't been my strongest month. I'm hoping to do better in March.

My biggest problem is the diet. The clean n eating hasn't happened yet for a range of reasons. Will make more of an effort next week 😕

LordPeterWimsey · 28/02/2017 20:30

I'm hoping to do better in March too - between holiday, injury and basic lack of motivation I haven't made as much progress this month as I'd hoped. Knee really sore today so I've been resting it as much as possible and will see how it is tomorrow before doing anything. I suspect bursitis: had it in my hip three years ago and had to have a month off the bike, which was a flaming nuisance.

I'm giving up refined sugar for Lent so will try to keep you company on the clean eating, RJ. I normally give up MN too but will stay on this thread rather than give up totally - if I don't have something to keep me semi-accountable I may also give up exercise for Lent, which was not in the plan!

RJnomore1 · 28/02/2017 21:22

Well tomorrow is both the first of march and the start of lent so it seems like a good time to start to me lord peter.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 28/02/2017 22:06

Definitely great perseverance from all of us Star. And to you Oubliette for keeping the thread going.

30day shred this morning. Made an effort to drink more water afterwards and less headachy so will see if that helps.

Good luck with the clean eating guys. I'll support you but won't be joining in Grin.

Today I finally convinced myself to move on to level 4 of Ri30. It wasn't too bad really. I also did half of 6W6P L1.

Left for work at 6:40 today, got home at 8:30pm. Did at least do my 10,000 steps across Edinburgh -including 210 bloody stairs up josephs ladder at calton(may have had to rest after that!) but it's still a no count from me today.

Also I was at a conference so while I did the best I could lunch wasn't the cleanest. So a bit of a fail all round really.

KanyesVest · 01/03/2017 21:56

Oh well, tomorrow is another day, RJ. I'm going to Italy on Sat for work for 4 days... it's going to be carb heaven Blush

I had a rest day on Monday and unexpected visitors yesterday which scuppered my evening exercise, so I had to do something to start March! Weather is hideous so I did 25mins of kettle bells/weights/squats. I'm going to feel every bit of it in the morning.

RJnomore1 · 01/03/2017 22:01

I suppose I don't have another rest day until next Wednesday now so it's not too bad.

I love carbs. I love Italy. I'm very jealous.

DeliciousIrony · 01/03/2017 22:22

LordPeter Sorry to hear about your knee, hope it recovers soon. I started week 7 today, definitely a step up! The first circuit is the worst, my attempt at a crow push-up must look pretty poor, but I did try.

blodynmawr · 02/03/2017 07:11

Still doing JM every Mon-Fri morning but failed to do any walks last weekend due to the utterly miserable weather Blush.
Well done all for keeping up the routines for two whole months Star.

OublietteBravo · 02/03/2017 19:02

This week seems to be going fairly well. I've just completed NMTZ.

Metafit tonight

DeliciousIrony · 02/03/2017 19:26

I hear you blody, the weather has been so atrocious lately, it's hard to get outside to do anything!

Body Rev workout 8 today...that weighted warrior 3 pose is horrendous, I can't manage to do it with a weight in both hands, but if I can sort of do it with one...other than that circuit, it wasn't too awful Smile

KanyesVest · 02/03/2017 21:47

Rotten weather and a horrible 5k tonight.

OublietteBravo · 03/03/2017 19:10

BFBM to finish off the week. I'm probably going to have a rest day tomorrow.

Cautiously getting back into it: Yoga Meltdown L2 done tonight. I'll take the bike out over the weekend and see if the knee copes, and if it does I'll try to get back into the normal routine next week.

Delicious, those weighted warrior 3 poses are awful. I can just about do it with 2 weights but have to use my 1 kg ones - no chance of doing it with anything heavier.

RJnomore1 · 03/03/2017 20:00

Started learning Olympic lifts today. Really enjoyable pt session.

44/206

RJnomore1 · 04/03/2017 16:29

Thai boxing today

45/205

I'm pretty sore and I think I might need a week off training soon, or at least off lifting. I have qualifiers for the Scottish kettlebell team on 19th march so will see how I am after that.

KanyesVest · 04/03/2017 19:06

Oh, what Olympic lifting are you doing RJ? I did a bit with my old trainer and while I hated every single loft, I felt and looked amazing with it.

My weight lifting today is a glass of local red and the pasta special! I have walked 15k steps so I'm counting it as a win Wink

RJnomore1 · 04/03/2017 19:11

Started with hanging cleans (?) yesterday and we are working up to jerk and snatch. We think it will help with activating my legs for my kettlebell jerk and snatch although the technique is different - I have a lot of upper body strength and stamina and I muscle things up rather than using my legs properly.

I enjoyed yesterday a lot but it was so so much new stuff to learn!

RJnomore1 · 04/03/2017 19:11

Oh and it's dominos and wine here shortly with the boxing 😬

KanyesVest · 04/03/2017 19:32

Yes, I found using my legs a revelation!

Enjoy your dominos! I had pizza for lunch. God I love Italy

OublietteBravo · 05/03/2017 19:55

Planned rest day yesterday. Finally managed to motivate myself to put my kit on and exercise - NMTZ. Not feeling the love today.
