Yay, I did 3km! It was really slow, which was actually really hard, and I stopped half way to stretch my calf, but I didn't have to hobble at all!
Total 46km

OublietteBravo · 20/02/2017 20:16

Back to cardio this evening: BFBM (which I'm starting to quite enjoy).

Hooray Kanye! Nothing like getting back to what you love after an enforced lay off.

Another kettlebell coaching session today. Wrecked but I'm off to see the pet shop boys in Glasgow tomorrow so I'll have a day off.

Still doing Jillian KBFF every Mon-Fri first thing. Half term here this week, which would usually result in a disrupted routine, but so far so good Smile.
BFBM and NMTZ used to be my faves Oubliette - I may dig them out!

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 21/02/2017 12:50

Hello all. Kanye, great news about the running Smile. I went for a run yesterday then did 30DS level 2 this morning. Have gone back to 1kg weights though, think it was just too much with 2kg for me. Will move onto level 3 next I think.

LordPeterWimsey · 21/02/2017 21:05

I'm back! Kanye, so pleased to hear that you managed to get out for a run -hope the calf is still OK.

Biked to work and back, and BOdy Rev workout 7 done. I'm not modifying anything now so I may be able to move on to workouts 9 and 10 next week. Fun times.

Hope you're having fun at the Pet Shop Boys, RJ - there's a ghost from my youth! I'm ashamed to admit I didn't know they were still around.

OublietteBravo · 22/02/2017 19:09

Hello. I had an unscheduled rest day yesterday (DS's parents evening lasted an hour and a half).

I finished off L3 of Ri30 this evening and did half of 6W6P L1.

Well I forgot my gym kit today so dh was supppsed to take it in for me, went straight to a board meeting from work, headed to the gym at 8 and no kit.

So I came home and ate crisps instead Blush

I did walk over 10k and dance for two solid hours yesterday but not counting that!

LordPeterWimsey · 23/02/2017 07:04

I had an unscheduled rest day yesterday because I'm shattered and my right knee was niggling. Body Rev workout 8 done this morning, but I skipped the rock star jumps: the knee seems to be OK but I don't want to take chances.

If I can cycle and do workout 7 tomorrow, and do workout 8 again over the weekend, I'll be on target for the week - minor miracle considering that I got virtually no sleep on Friday and Saturday nights and I had a lot of catching up to do.

blodynmawr · 23/02/2017 19:17

Rest day today due to an aching right calf and a restless night due to storm noise resulting in a lie in Blush.

RJnomore1 · 23/02/2017 20:12

Metafit tonight. Enjoyed it but my calves are soooo tight.

RJnomore1 · 24/02/2017 18:38

I did 159 squats with my pt today. I think that should count as a week of workouts!

OublietteBravo · 24/02/2017 19:11

I had another unscheduled rest day yesterday. I actually feel much better for it - I've just done NMTZ and my usual weights felt really light.

30 day shred this morning.

LordPeterWimsey · 24/02/2017 22:18

Biked to work and back but my knee is niggling again - think I'm going to rest it and ice it over the weekend and then do low impact things next week (maybe Yoga Meltdown and NMTZ) rather than get straight back onto Body Rev. So I haven't made target this week on the Jillian, only two workouts rather than four.

KanyesVest · 25/02/2017 22:05

That's very frustrating about your knee, Peter.

I had a bad week for any sort of motivation, but got out for a run today and very pleased I got just over 4k without a niggle in my calf so I've decided I'm over this injury! Hopefully I'll do 6k tomorrow.

RJnomore1 · 25/02/2017 22:07

Thai boxing class this morning.

Boost afternoon out with friends this afternoon 😳.

Balanced out eh!

OublietteBravo · 26/02/2017 10:22

Oh dear - I really haven't done very well this past week. I've only been managing to exercise every other day. Hoping for a better week next week.

Today I've done BFBM.

MMA/circuits this morning. Really enjoyed it.

KanyesVest · 26/02/2017 22:35

Tonight's run was pretty miserable....it started raining about 100m from the front door and it was freezing. I trudged very slowly through 6.5km. 4-5km was very hard going, I walked a couple of stretches. It was a combination of the horrible weather and leaden legs. But at least it's done!

On the upside, I don't know where I got my last distance log figure, but as of tonight, it is 57km.

RJnomore1 · 27/02/2017 08:18

Kanye well done for getting out there and doing it!

DeliciousIrony · 27/02/2017 18:26

Argh, I fell off the thread - I was doing alright up until a week ago, and then I've been feeling a bit unwell and then had some time off work, but have tried to catch up and done 5 Body Rev workouts in the last 4 days. Back to work tomorrow and on to week 7, eek. Hope everyone is doing a bit better than me!

OublietteBravo · 27/02/2017 20:19

Right - I'm determined to do better this week. I've made a reasonable start - NMTZ for me this evening.

Well done, Kanye, you're a better woman than me! I'm always in awe of people who can exercise outside in winter: I would hibernate if I could.

Delicious, you've caught me up - I was going to move on to workouts 9 and 10 this week, but my knee is niggling so I'm having a week off Body Rev. I won't be able to jump straight back in with 9 and 10 so I expect I'll be on 7 and 8 again next week.

I'm having a low-impact week: the knee is mostly OK but keeps twingeing when I don't expect it, so I'm off the bike for a week and I've done Yoga Meltdown L1 today. Will aim to do L2 tomorrow.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 27/02/2017 22:08

Hello all, great to see so many still in the thread Smile. I did 5k run this morning.

I'm getting headaches after running that last all day Confused. Not particularly bad, just niggling. Any ideas anyone? Will google as well. Dehydration would be too if the list but I am well known for always having a glass of water on the go so am not sure that's the case. I'm not sure I'm eating enough afterwards. Maybe it's that. Or possibly not drinking enough straight after.

My problem is that I am fitting in a run while a DC is at an activity at least once a week so it is really tight for time. Mistimed it today and had to run in to pick DD2 up so no time to stretch or anything afterwards.
