KBFF done, 4/5 this week.
Well done all - some great effort going on here Smile.

DeliciousIrony · 02/02/2017 19:22

EatSpam Ouch, how did you manage that? Good effort for carrying on with the exercise!

randoms I cower at the thought of a Total Warrior, good luck!

Body Rev Workout 4 today.

RJnomore1 · 02/02/2017 19:27

Metafit day

23/227

Can't decide what I fancy for dinner now

OublietteBravo · 02/02/2017 20:46

Planned rest day for me. Which is fortuitous as I seem to have succumbed to the cold DH and DD have had.

Done W1R2 of c25k and didn't find it as bad as I thought I would today. Done a 10min Kettlebell workout and took dogs out for an hour

randomsabreuse · 02/02/2017 23:41

Squats challenge, 10k run with running club and counting post run stretches as yoga enough. Tomorrow is rest for legs apart from walking DD as she's pretty horrible if we don't get out.

Tsotofamily · 03/02/2017 14:24

All done for today - 30 mins cardio, 10 mins Kettlebell and 1 hour dog walk

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend x

LordPeterWimsey · 03/02/2017 15:50

Body Rev workout 7 done this morning (after two unplanned rest days because I've been ill and busy at work). I was right that it's evil: the whole of the first circuit is basically in plank /push-up position (crow pushups, walking plank, plank-ups, squat thrusts). On my test of being able to do a full set of each thing without having to modify, I'm failing at the moment, so I'll need to stick with this for a while. Can't remember what's in workout 8 - that's tomorrow's lovely surprise!

OublietteBravo · 03/02/2017 18:45

I just did a short session this evening (Killer Abs L1). I'm feeling a bit under the weather - slightly sore throat and sniffly. Will see how I'm feeling tomorrow, might have a rest day...

Really struggled with my pt today. Got through it somehow. Just one of those days I guess.

RJnomore1 · 04/02/2017 14:09

An hours training myself for the comp in two weeks while the girls did the Thai class.

randomsabreuse · 04/02/2017 17:04

Parkrun and got a PB at last - training finally making a difference - plus 1hr 30 dog walk. Think tomorrow's plans might have to be modified... little bit on the stiff side now. Must do yoga tonight!

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 04/02/2017 19:00

Hi all, I have been rubbish and lost motivation Sad. Can anyone give me some please?! Was doing so well. I don't enjoy exercise, have to force myself but after 3 weeks off I just can't be bothered and feel a bit pathetic Blush.

randomsabreuse · 04/02/2017 19:30

What motivates you generally - appearance, competition (with self/others), health?

I now have several motivations - I want to lose weight so I can ride more interesting horses but I am also motivated by objective improvements e.g. time taken, doing something I couldn't do before. Health and appearance benefits aren't enough on their own.

I am ridiculously competitive but given I'm really not a runner I have to compete against myself so parkrun is great for that!

LordPeterWimsey · 04/02/2017 19:36

TooStressy, I feel your pain. I hate exercise.

I've found two things help: one is fitting in exercise in a way that replaces something else that isn't fun either (so I cycle to work, and the time I'm spending exercising is time I would otherwise be spending on the Tube), and the other is terror of being a frail old lady - my mother's in her early seventies and going downhill fast and I don't want that to happen to me. If I don't want to be a frail old lady, I have to do sodding planks and push-ups now. That more or less keeps me going, though I've also really been struggling to motivate myself this winter.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 04/02/2017 19:43

Thanks both! random, I am the opposite of competitive so can't use that as a motivation. Appearance, I am one of those whose weight doesn't change I'm afraid although I was pleased I had toned my tummy up a bit I guess.

Health I suppose then (am a HCP) so the frail old lady thing is very real for me too LordPeter. I can't get to work on time without driving as have to drop off kids first and same for leaving as have pick up. Did have some success found exercise DVD with DD2 actually as I would have been entertaining her anyway - it's not as if I would have been sat watching telly. DH working tomorrow so will try to get back on it on Monday I guess.

RJnomore1 · 05/02/2017 11:01

MMA class this morning - there were only two of us do it probably counts as another pt really! - then couch to 5k week 2 run 1 along the shore on a glorious morning.

If I'd managed more than four hours sleep and hadn't thrown up with the coughing last night it would have been a good morning.

Stress the only advice I have is that the first one is always the worst and the thought of doing it is usually worst of all - so pick something and just do it and it's over with!

W1r3 of c25k and Kettlebell workout today.

blodynmawr · 06/02/2017 07:37

KBFF Friday and today.
1hr walk Sat and rest day Sun.
Randoms good question about motivation. I agree that for me it is general health and wanting to be in the best shape I can be. What I weigh or look like are less important issues - it is about how I feel Smile.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 06/02/2017 14:00

Hi all, thanks for the motivation Smile. Went for a run while DD2 at her activity his morning. Only had time for 20 min run so did a random you tube 10 min HIIT video when we got in.

RJnomore1 · 06/02/2017 19:58

Rest day today, dentist as well 😮

Wednesday should be my rest day but I'm thinking I need to train somehow; we are going for dinner straight from work do I think perhaps a run at 7 in the morning?

OublietteBravo · 06/02/2017 20:08

Saturday and Sunday ended up as rest days for me due to having a horrible cold. I'm feeling more human today - I've just done NMTZ

Hi everyone. I was struck down with a bad viral thing last week that it sounds like so many of you have had too. Dh was away so I couldn't make myself do anything at all. Back to it tonight, where I braved gym machinery -15 mins on each of the bike, rowing machine and some odd strider/stepper thing that I thought was an elliptical trainer.

Tsotofamily · 06/02/2017 23:20

T25 workout this morning, quick 20 min dog walk and this afternoon I done w2r1 of c25k
