Come and join us in our attempt to do 30 min exercise as often as possible.

Set yourself a target (e.g. 5 days a week, 20 days a month, etc.). Any kind of exercise counts: walking, running, swimming, cycling, dancing - or any other activity that expends energy.

Yoga Meltdown L1 done. I may be getting back on track here.

Kanye, respect! We seem to be past that stage (fingers crossed) but I remember it all too well.

Killer Abs L1. Still not feeling 100%, so still just doing enough to maintain my current level (and keep the number of exercise says ticking over).

KA&B L1 done. Hope you're feeling better today, Oubliette.

I've not been feeling great this week, lack of energy. Did a half hour cardio class this morning and really struggled. So going to take it easy and no running just now. Going on holiday next week so hope I don't have the flu! Can I ask what the numbers in the brackets are Oubliette, am I missing something? !

Report
OublietteBravo · 12/10/2016 18:02

The numbers in brackets are my way of tracking my goal of 300 days exercise in 2016. The first number is the number of days I've already done, and the second number is the number of days remaining.

So (as of yesterday) I've done 231 days of exercise in 2016, and I have 69 to go to get to a total of 300.

sometimes I get a number wrong - adding up to 300 obviously isn't my strong point

Oh right that's good to keep on track, I write in my diary on on mfp exercise I've done (when I remember! )

I couldn't face circuits tonight so I went for a run. It was slow but I did 7.25km, a lot longer than I've been managing lately.

Hope everyone who is feeling under the weather is on the mend soon. There seem to be lurgys everywhere at the moment.

That meant to say I write in my diary AND in mfp!

I felt so rough yesterday that I took it as a rest day. I'm feeling slightly less bad today (I hesitate to say 'better'), so I've just done Killer Abs L1.

Hi all, did 30 day shred level 2 this morning. Actually found it quite hard work (hadn't done anything since Mon so maybe that, or I just put some proper effort in!) so feel as if I have done something today :).

I have succumbed to the bugs going about and am now in bed. So have only done a half hour cardio class this week and going on holiday next week. Will need to try and make up for it when feeling better!

Oh no Judd, hope its only a 24 hour thing. Are you still improving oubliette? It's amazing how quickly I feel a few days of laziness rest, stressy. It nearly makes me keep to a routine. Only nearly though Blush

I had a rest day yesterday because dh ended up working really late. I did 30min very slow plod this morning, legs felt like sandbags.

LordPeterWimsey · 14/10/2016 19:58

I had a fail yesterday - slept straight through the alarm so couldn't exercise before work, and then by the time DD was finally asleep it was 9.30 and I couldn't face doing anything. Today better: cycled to work and back, so that's two hours' moderate exercise. I am now knackered!

Judd and Oubliette, hope you feel better very soon.

Today I genuinely feel better. Which is perfectly timed as I'm going on holiday tomorrow Grin

I've just done 6W6P L1 without feeling like I'm coughing my lungs up or drowning in snot

Hope everyone who's feeling under the weather gets better soon.

Woo hoo! I just managed a full, if slow, 5k without stopping! I haven't managed that in a long time. Celebration donut, I think Wink

Happy holidays, hope the r&r knocks any lingering germs on the head.

Glad everyone seems to be having a good day! No exercise today (properly busy all day) but did have a chat with my running obsessed DH about my lack of time to run and We've said we'all find some more slots of time for me to go Smile. So I think that's progress.

Just shy of 5k run today.

Feeling much better - maybe it is the Spanish sun. A bit of a lingering cough, but I no longer feel like the snot monster.

Still managed a quick Killer Abs L1 session.

Oh , I'm jealous of the Spanish sun, oubliette. I hope it cures your ills. We had some watery sunshine here today so I dragged the children to the park and seafront for a couple of hours. I was meeting friends for dinner so walked the 2.5km each way well, in all honesty, I probably walked 3km home, with a little bit of staggering!

I'm jealous of the Spanish sun too! Everyone's got so much done over the weekend- very impressed as I always have weekends off exercising. Yoga Meltdown L2 done here.

Hey you lot are fab can I join in? Currently debating going for a run, or doing a workout I have written down - or waiting til 8 to go do weights (I'd prefer weights but the workout in house is winning right now!)

Hi RJ, glad you're enjoying the sun Oubliette.

30 day shred level 2 today. Combined that with Kanye's school run weight training - carried DD2 plus navigated scooter most of the way back from school this morning.
