Come and join us in our attempt to do 30 min exercise as often as possible.

Set yourself a target (e.g. 5 days a week, 20 days a month, etc.). Any kind of exercise counts: walking, running, swimming, cycling, dancing - or any other activity that expends energy.

Really good weights session with my PT today, PB on my push presses and after going in rushing from work and feeling a bit crap came out buzzing.

Kettlebells tomorrow. I am on a roll! Might take Wednesday off - will see how it goes.

Run at lunchtime. 4km but about 2 mins quicher than my usual sloth like pace speed, so I'm pretty happy with that.

RJ your mma training sounds good. How did you get into that?

I seem to have left my motivation in Spain - I hope it finds its way back soon. I just forced myself to do Killer Abs L1.

Biked to and from work today, so two hours' moderate cardio, and did the Pilates segment (plus warm-up and cooldown) of the new Jillian Michaels DVD - Ten Minute Body Transformations. The Pilates is pretty good though Jillian doesn't actually do any of it herself and appears to be wearing a leather corset. These two facts may possibly be connected.

Lord Peter Grin. Ankle still swollen so no proper exercise for me Sad. We're on holiday though so not much chance to rest it properly unfortunately - done a fair bit of walking and a bit of swimming with the kids but currently having to ignore lovely hotel gym Sad. Must check before crashing into weights in the future!

Believe it or not a friend talked me into it. We do a small class on a Sunday morning now - 4 of us with the trainer - a mix of circuits and MMA. It is really challenging. He is big on core work but he is always mega careful to make sure no-one is hurt, more so than anyone else I train with.

Kettlebells tonight, will be using the 20k kettlebell for next weeks class eek.

My motivation has improved, but I only had time for a short workout (I'm going out for dinner with DH and no DC this evening).

Hope you had a lovely dinner, Oubliette! I've done KA&B L2 today - ouchy ouchy. Though for some reason she does one-armed burpees in L1 and two-armed ones with weights, which are noticeably easier, in L2.

How's the ankle, TooStressy? Hope it's recovering.

Rest day for me today.

I am starving too. Dh and DD2 have sat and munched through a bag of chocolate peanuts in front of me. I am clean eating for a month.

I was all set to do NMTZ. Then I found out my electricity was about to be cut off (water company have damaged the cable, which is smoking). So a shorter session became necessary: Killer Abs L1.

Hi all, am still here Smile. Ankle a bit better thanks, haven't been able to properly rest it as on holiday with children but have taken some time off exercise Sad. Will have to get the ice on it next week and see how things are and get back on the thread Smile.

Hope you get some time to ice your ankle once the holidays are over stressy.

The mma training sounds good (although it would obviously kill me).

Unlike oubliette who keeps going when unmotivated, I don't, so it's been a bad week. I got out for 4km run today.

Thursday is metafit day.

55 bloody burpees to end.

I couldn't feel me legs and I think I was lucky if I cleared a centimetre on the last ones.

I did a bit more of JM's 10 minute body transformations (10MBT?) - it's a good DVD. Planning to do KA&B L3 tomorrow, which may be the death of me...

You do 10, your partner does 10 while you plank...you do 9...down to 1. I hate it. My legs hate it. My brain hates it.

I sometimes think there must be nicer things to do with my spare time.

Bit peed off, my PT cancelled today and as a result I ended up filling the time with other things. Just in and go to dash back out again to collect kids. Should have gone myself and trained but today I just didn't have the motivation.

And now I can't find a hashtag on my mac keyboard which means this is even more of a Fridayfail

Went and trained myself yesterday, did 5 minute kettle bell snatch sets, nearly killed me. Seriously.

MMA this morning, my throat is really raw, struggling a little bit here too oub.

We can see this through...
