Come and join us in our attempt to do 30 min exercise as often as possible.

Set yourself a target (e.g. 5 days a week, 20 days a month, etc.). Any kind of exercise counts: walking, running, swimming, cycling, dancing - or any other activity that expends energy.

I switched back to 6W6P L1 for this morning's session - and threw in the evil abs circuit from NMTZ.

Checking in! I didn't manage anything on Thursday due to working late/period pains, but did Killer Body (Lower body) yesterday + 10 minutes hooping, and Extreme Shed and shred L2 today. I HATE the triangle pose right at the end of that one, it looks deceptively easy but makes me feel a bit sick. But I did it, hurray.

LordPeterWimsey · 03/12/2016 20:12

Checking in - getting back on track, just done Body Rev workout 2. My good intentions about doing some JM yoga when I was away fell through: I managed to sleep through my phone alarm Blush. I think I'm really meant to be a hibernating animal as I struggle so much with getting out of bed at this time of year.

Kanye, hope your DS is better now.

KanyesVest · 03/12/2016 21:44

Thankfully he stopped puking after about 12 hours Peter, but he's the grumpiest bear in the woods now. And dh announced he has "man sinuses" (his term) which isn't as bad as man flu, but does rely on a lot of couch based medicine Hmm

Couldn't face going out so did a 30min body weight cardio thing on YouTube. If anyone is looking for a variation on JM, bodyfit by Amy is quite good.

Wine now. Happy weekend everyone Wine

LordPeterWimsey · 04/12/2016 09:55

Killer Abs L1 done. Back to Body Rev in the morning, I hope. I'm home alone this weekend (till late afternoon) so have space to get stuff done, and am thinking of taking myself out for brunch. Clean sheets and a shower next, I think.

OublietteBravo · 04/12/2016 10:44

6W6P L1 for me this morning. Looking forward to not having to exercise this evening!

Killer Abs (L1) today - that third circuit is a right, erm, killer....but it must all be starting to work as DP told me today how much firmer my sides feel when he hugs me. That's some oblique action, right there!

KanyesVest · 04/12/2016 22:14

Very excited to have done a fast for me 9km in under 62 mins. I'm going to have some celebratory cheese Grin

DeliciousIrony · 05/12/2016 21:23

Yoga Inferno Level 1 done Smile

KanyesVest · 05/12/2016 21:48

4km walk today. The backs of my thighs and my arse are killing me after the body weight workout the other night - too bloody long since I did squats. A run the next day usually sorts me out, so I must be in a really bad way Blush

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 05/12/2016 22:49

30 day shred level 2 today. I know, I know, should have tried level 3 Blush.

KanyesVest · 06/12/2016 18:46

6.5km this evening.

OublietteBravo · 06/12/2016 19:19

Oh wow - everyone had a great day yesterday. I had a rest day Blush

I've found some motivation today - just done killer abs level 1.

Rest day yesterday, and then decided to try and step it up a notch and try Killer Arms and Back Level 3 today. Bloody hard, but I just about managed it, and can now do around 12 proper push-ups at a time before dropping to my knees, so that is an improvement.

Have you tried L3 yet Stressy?

OublietteBravo · 07/12/2016 19:20

6W6P L1 this evening - with the evil abs circuit from NMTZ.

Unscheduled rest day today. I was getting ready to go out for a run when a friend arrived to take me to a mulled wine and mince pie food demo. It was worth it Xmas Grin

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 08/12/2016 09:35

Sounds good Kanye Xmas Smile. I've done nothing since Monday I'm afraid. Might manage something tonight; if not definitely planned for tomorrow!

JuddNelsoninTheBreakfastClub · 08/12/2016 18:25

Hello I've just realised this thread is still going! I posted at the start then got a virus then went on holiday so didn't do anything for nearly 3 and a half weeks. We have a group in work where we are trying to exercise every (or most) days in December. Started running again and up to over 6km. Wanted to ask, has anyone lost any weight with all the exercise? I haven't lost any although have been eating more probably. Feel a bit fitter although have been tired last couple of days. Hmm

OublietteBravo · 08/12/2016 18:45

I'm jealous Kanye - I really fancy mulled wine now.

I've just done Killer Abs L1. Now I'm off to supervise the packing for DD's school ski trip.

Mmm mulled wine...

Killer Buns and Thighs Level 3 done today. First circuit was fairly terrifying but overall it wasn't as bad as my vague memories of Level 2, the one time I attempted it two years ago

Judd I haven't been weighing myself but hoping I've lost inches, will take measurements just before Christmas Smile I do feel quite a bit fitter and a bit less squishy, so it must be doing something.

KanyesVest · 08/12/2016 21:50

The mulled wine was good as were the prosecco, smoked salmon canapes, chocolate bites and mince pies Wink

I just did an 8km run. It wasn't terrible but slower than my last two. I was feeling good at then end though. I really wish running wasn't so boring.

Judd I remain resolutely the same weight no matter what. I am about 10kg heavier than I should be (at my lightest I was 8kg lighter but that didn't last long!) and no amount of food or exercise management seems to change it. I do feel a lot better physically and mentally though, so it's obviously worth keeping it up.

JuddNelsoninTheBreakfastClub · 08/12/2016 22:09

It's great that you Delicious and Kanye feel fitter physically and mentally. I weighed myself a couple of weeks ago and I'd actually put a pound on! Think I'd been under the mentality that I can eat what I want because I was running a bit more which I obviously can't. Have lots of clothes that are too tight that I'm hoping I will fit into one day Grin

OublietteBravo · 09/12/2016 18:27

I haven't weighed myself in ages. My clothes fit, which is all I really care about.

I finished off the week with 6W6P L1.
