Come and join us in our attempt to do 30 min exercise as often as possible.

Set yourself a target (e.g. 5 days a week, 20 days a month, etc.). Any kind of exercise counts: walking, running, swimming, cycling, dancing - or any other activity that expends energy.

Can I join? I am a keen Shredder, aiming to do at least 5 Jillian workouts per week every week before Christmas. Have done 5 workouts so far this week (including Banish Fat Boost Metabolism yesterday which is longer than 30 mins, so I feel I get bonus points for that!). I'm having today as a rest day, but planning to do something tomorrow if I don't drink too much this evening!

Oubliette you must know 6W6P and Killer Abs by heart by now, I'm impressed!

movingforward2016 · 26/11/2016 13:11

Hi all,

I want to join in but I just feel too lazy! My dd had been off school all week with a chest infection and I have been so bored moping about the house and don't feel great myself!

In October I started the 30ds and started to feel more toned after a very short time so I know it works I just need to stop being lazy Confused

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 26/11/2016 22:03

Hi all, not done anything today but just wanted to say welcome to both of you! I love this thread, makes me more likely to do stuff :)

DeliciousIrony · 27/11/2016 16:41

Anyone else tried Jillian's 10-minute transformations? Today I've done the pilates and cardio ones...started to do the kickboxing one but couldn't even be bothered to finish out the 10 minutes, I really dislike kickboxing for some reason. Also did 10 minutes of weighted hula-hooping to make up the 30 mins, and went for a walk.

Anyone else exercising this weekend?

OublietteBravo · 27/11/2016 17:38

Hello DeliciousIrony and movingforward - welcome to the thread!

I did 6W6P L1 again today because I couldn't be arsed to change the DVD over

Hi everyone, only did 2k today so a bit rubbish. Was a family fun run today so did the 2k with DD2 -tried to make the most of carrying her for half of it as a bit of exercise but was a bit rubbish really. Will do better tomorrow!

Not tried any other Jillian DVDs but probably should!

KanyesVest · 27/11/2016 22:11

Wow, definitely into the final furlong now, oubliette! Your post about the v-raises made me feel a little better...I was using 7.5kg weights so no wonder my arms nearly fell off Blush

Stressy, I was the same yesterday... We went to see Santa turning on the lights nearby and I ended up carrying Ds, or his bike, or pushing him, or lifting dd up to see the stage, or carrying her scooter.... By the time we got home I was emotionally as well as physically wrecked.

Hi delicious and moving! Nice to have new blood in our merry band.

I just did 8km. It was slow, but I did it. Going to make a real effort before Christmas, mainly so I can get into my gorgeous and very fitted party dress!

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 28/11/2016 14:29

30 day shred level 2 this morning. Don't think I'll ever find it easy so just going to move up anyway and try level 3 next time.

OublietteBravo · 28/11/2016 19:27

KillerAbs L1 this evening. Mondays always seem a low motivational point for me, so hoping things improve as the week goes on.

No More Trouble Zones today, an old nemesis...really feel it in my core and arms now, so might try and target lower body more tomorrow.

OublietteBravo · 28/11/2016 21:08

NMTZ used to be my favourite Jillisn DVD. I really must dig it out and have another go at it.

I sometimes incorporate the evil ab circuit (circuit # 2) into 6W6P.

Did 30mins (3x10 mins) run this evening. It was really cold and gorgeous. Felt better than I expected after a long run yesterday.

OublietteBravo · 29/11/2016 19:10

I did Killer Abs L1 again this evening.

Nothing done today...don't think I slept for more than an hour or two last night, and a stressful busy day at work meant that I couldn't bring myself to do anything more than crawl into a nice hot bath this evening! Hoping for a better day tomorrow.

I still feel it all over from NMTZ yesterday though, so maybe just as well.

LordPeterWimsey · 29/11/2016 20:54

Just checking in to say I've had the lurgy, and have to go away for work for a couple of days at the end of this week - so while I'm determined to crack on with Body Rev, it'll have to wait till the weekend. Will try to do some JM yoga while I'm away.

OublietteBravo · 30/11/2016 19:18

I hope you are feeling better LordPeter

Just a quick 6W6P L1 this evening. Absolutely freezing here - off to light the fire.

(275/25)

300 days works out at an average of 25 days per month, so bang on target at the moment. Just December to go...

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 30/11/2016 19:47

Oubliette, you are doing so well! Hope you're feeling better LordPeter.

Was going to do 30 day shred level 3 but it's not on You Tube so I'll order the DVD. Had limited time so did level 2 as didn't want to spend ages searching for a different workout.

Think I might order some Jillian DVDs. Any suggestions in the meantime for stuff that's on You Tube? I like the mix of cardio, strength and abs but am mainly aiming to improve cardio.

DeliciousIrony · 30/11/2016 21:32

Stressy Level 3 is here, pinched from another thread Smile

Managed Killer Arms and Back L1 today, and 10 minutes hula hooping.

KanyesVest · 30/11/2016 22:00

I did 54 mins running tonight. I'm trying to get back up to 10k so working my way through the programme again.

Hope you're both feeling better and more rested, Peter and Irony. Thanks for the link to level 3 too. Might brave it tomorrow .

DeliciousIrony · 01/12/2016 07:33

If you can do 54 minutes running then you will be fine with level 3, I'm sure Smile

KanyesVest · 01/12/2016 16:27

I'm very slow, more of a plod than a run, but it's better than sitting in the couch eating chocolates Blush

My hip is giving out a bit after the longer runs this week so I'm doing my long neglected physio ab work instead. Did one round earlier, will do another before bed.

OublietteBravo · 01/12/2016 19:21

Killer Abs L1 this evening. Lacking motivation today.

Happy weekend everyone. Xmas Smile

I've just done Killer Abs L1. My plan for the rest of the evening is to slob in front of the woodburner with a book (and a Wine).

Ds has a tummy bug so exercise plans scuppered for today. Dh has just walked in, so I'm going to get out for 20mins fresh air via the off license

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 02/12/2016 23:19

Hi all, thanks for the level 3 link Delicious, will check it out.

6k run today.
