10,000 steps a day New school year start today.

I've signed up to do 10,000 steps a day in September with the Walk All Over Cancer event.
Anyone else doing this?
My kids have left home now so I don't actually have a school run to do.Its going to mean leaving the car at home , walking to shops etc if I don't make a bit of extra effort I won't achieve it!
All welcome to cheer each other on and get fitter.

Hi Grand, my calf's used to throb loads when I first started, they were always worse come bedtime

Half term week so haven't been able to get out as much as I wanted Monday I managed just over 10000, the rest of this week I've been averaging around 8000 give or take. Hopefully get more steps in next week, I've already planned 2 days out dog walking with a friend next week
