Ok so pennies are dropping. I didn't realise when you said you were doing "Friday Night Fight" or "Tabata Power" that these were IM30 work outs - I thought they were T25.

Just did Max Out Sweat. Maxed out before the first water break - ouch! I am sooo unfit! Am sweating a lot not - really enjoyed it! Much more my kind of Insanity routine. Those punch burpees are nails.

Will do Friday Fight round 2 tomorrow. Awesome.

How did you get on with Agility X Purple?

Oh - I booked the 16:15 class next Weds at Barry's - assumed you wouldn't be able to make it as it's during work time, but let me know if you can finish early that day and I can get you a spot - my DH is coming with.

Yay I'm glad you enjoyed it. I knew max30 would be more your style!
I would maybe try Friday fight 1 first. Fight 2 is tough - I (used to be able to) complete fight 1 without maxing but maxed on fight 2 at c6mins. both work outs only have water breaks at 15mins and 25mins which means no recovery time which is what makes them hard.
Migraine last night so no work out. Can't be faffed doing tape on floor so thought I'd try 'the warrior' tonight.

I did yoga x3, I think done properly it would get a bit of a sweat going. I am as unflexible as they come and cant even do a rollypolly so plough is never gonna happen!

Poppy are you doing classic p90x3 in sequence per the schedule? I guess I'll get to yoga in due course but i wouldn't choose it. I used to go to a yoga class which I loved but I find it hard to get the same amount out of it in terms of the breathing etc with a DVD at home.
LOVED warrior! Was great. I felt really well worked out at the end of it. The only weird thing I find with the workouts is that there are long gaps between each move whilst Tony chats which feels a bit lazy - I've done so much Shaun t I'm used to going from one to another with no break. Smile

Just listening to fireworks here. Dd was in a panic because of the 'scary noises' Shock

I need new work out gear too. I still wear my lucky race leggings and they're now 10yrs old. Blush

Boobz - sorry I can't do Barry's. What a shame. Was hoping we'd be able to work out together again. Next time hopefully

Hello fellow fitties! Sorry have been rubbish at posting recently. Doing a combo of long walks, treadmill sprints/runs and Jillian Michaels this week. Aching like hell! Hurts so good Grin Suddenly got scared about long distance walk I am doing at beginning of December. Off to JM now and will catch up properly at the weekend. Hope you all digging deep Xmas Grin

Ok I'm pretty sweaty. My main aim was for someone to max out before me and I got there (everyone seem to max out at the same time!)

Really enjoying this. I do wonder though whether half an hour with no breaks is more effective than an hour with breaks and a 6 minute stretch in the middle.

Will keep doing Max 30 until surgery next week, and then when I start up again I think I will mix Insanity with IM30 and perhaps a couple of the P90X back and chest work outs (for the pull ups - they give you an amazingly defined back)...

Less than a week to go before I will be under the knife - eek!

How are you getting on with P90X3 Purple?

I did a double today
Agility x then yoga. Really enjoyed both. Don't think I did agility x tape right as some moves were easy and some were impossible. Obv I didn't actually watch the 'how to do it' DVD which would have explained it. I found the cue-ing impossible to follow so no doubt I wasn't doing it totally right either. Was v out of breath and sweaty at the end tho and that's the main thing. Contrary to what I said yesterday I thought the yoga was good too. Was too fast so I don't think you get the benefit of all the poses but then that's what you expect for a 30min DVD I guess. Is much more enjoyable than a stretching DVD too so will definitely try to do it 1x per week. I also enjoyed watching the hardcore yoga bloke do the most ridiculous poses. He seemed to fold into a pretzel then turn it into a handstandShock

Glad you enjoyed Friday fight boobz. I don't know whether 30min max 30 is exactly equivalent to a full hour of insanity (prob wishful thinking to think it is) but as long as I end up absolutely exhausted at the end I'm pretty happy!

Sarah - what is the big walk? DH is doing a 52 miler in the summer. I foresee him disappearing for whole weekend days to do training Sad

Hi Purple - it is 24 miles so not as long distance as your DH's! But still feel that I haven't got enough miles under my belt. Really enjoyed workouts this week though so hopefully can get to a point where I am fit enough to get around. They provide a hot meal at the end and tea and coffee on the way around! Doing it with a couple of girls who I did the 3 peaks with. Hoping for nice weather. Well done on the double.

Boobz - eek indeed! How are you feeling? How long before you can exercise again afterwards?

Omg. I just did cvx from p90x3. Was feeling a bit tired so chose it as I thought it would be easy. How wrong I was!! Am totally broken now.

Grin purple I did The Warrior as I couldn't find the pull up bar and all my exercise bras were in the wash meaning cardio was out ...cue jumping jacks sans arms as they were wrapped around my chest Hmm Yup warrior is a proper workout but I so need the breaks tony can gab away as far as I am concerned!

Sarahlou your challenge sounds amazing!

Boobz I hope surgery and healing goes smoothly. Flowers but you would prob prefer a weights or exercise related emoticon!

Weights were only 5lb and I was dying. I wanted to punch the cheerful blonde lady who's had 6 kids and still has a 6 pack. Rest day tomorrow thank goodness

These p90x workouts - would they be suitable for someone like me who modifies 50% of the time on T25?

Still not back on the bandwagon but I will do this week. Unfortunately circumstances and prior commitments are stopping me doing anything till Wednesday but I will workout on Wednesday Grin

There are lots of modification options so you will definitely find a level which works for you.

Hi everyone. Can you get p90 on that VK thingy?

Treadmill run/sprints done at lunchtime. Really like getting workout out of the way during the day. Going to alternate cardio/strength all week and aiming to walk 10 miles on Saturday. Feel soooo much better for exercising more regularly Smile. Hope you all ok.

Purple I used 3lb weights today for cvx and it was hard so 5lb is brill - thats's what super mom tracy was using! (annoyingly perfect but she laughs at Tony's gumball jokes)

Total synergistics for me last night. Am getting the hang of it. Still not got my pull up bar sorted. It's in the garage covered with spiders. It is dh's job this weekend to deal with it
