Spooky I think you will love Gamma! Do you like floor strength work as well as work with weights? I prefer cardio but Gamma is a good mix.

Welcome to Madame and WellErrrr. Well, go on, give it a try!

Totally had not made the connection between salty food (Chinese takeaways in particular) and water retention-based weight gain - but it makes sense Grin.

No time for exercise today, so plan to skip Drench, do the Thurs and Fri workouts as per the schedule (hopefully), and catch up with Drench at the weekend.

spooky glad u found us, and good news re the skirt. Many fitness bloggers seem to advocate binning the scales and going by clothes, mirrors and tape measures - so you are on to something there!

We have all our regular posters now I think. There were a few other posters who were less regular and/or may have possibly dropped off the old thread anyway, but hopefully those that want to find us will do - we just need to keep the thread bumped up near the top of the "exercise" board by keeping on posting! Smile

Don't know re 21 day fix Madame. You're at exactly the same stage of max30 as me. Are you enjoying it?

Did max cardio this am. Was a lot harder now I've done the planks correctly Shock
Also felt hard as I normally do it after a rest day so doing it the day after Friday fight was bad. I can now see quite pronounced abs in my mirror in the room where I work out but not in the other mirrors.... Maybe this is some sort of weird wishful thinking?!

How was run Boobz? I have downloaded c25k on my phone so might try that.

Purple you may be right! back to normal weight today but I was v strict yest and v unstrict today so might avoid the scales tomorrow!

Jacksters same plan here at the mo with drench. Normally I have sod all going on, but today I had a friend round at 9 am for tea so spent morning before school run tidying, then met other friends for fry up at local greasy spoon brunch, then out with dd after nursery. Loads of work from home to do too.

It's my birthday on Sat - we're heading out for drinks at a lovely hotel - I want to fit into my mini dress - might not east for the next 3 days to achieve this goal.

Boobz, still in the same house with the same damn doors! Really need to think of a way to do pull-ups somewhere. Your birthday outing sounds perfect, bet you will fit in that dress and will have a fab time!

I did P90x shoulders and arms today followed by the ab ripper. Also managed to squeeze in a 25 minute run this morning. Had a very busy day, feeling tired now, glad it's a recovery day tomorrow!

Well done on the run Boobz and hope you get in the dress for Saturday. It must be teeny weeny if you are worried about getting into it!

Was rubbish yesterday on the exercise front apart from a lunchtime walk, so got up and did Gamma extreme circuit this morning and going for long walk later. I had forgotten how satisfying it is to exercise first thing - I am feeling fairly smug right nowGrin and even better I have eaten all the biscuits(literally all of them - sorry!) so I am now officially on a biscuit ban until I can shift some weight.

Crikey I was a calorie monster yesterday!

5k and 7k is brill spooky and Boobz! I took my 3 dc plus a friends 4 yo to school yest and I am def fitter as was able to run along with the little ones Blush they are fast Grin

Jackster i did piyo upperbody today, which was pretty ok apart from plank push ups, however I switched thinking it was 10 mins longer than strength intervals but it is only 18 mins Confused so strength tomorrow, drench at weekend and next week sweat (35 mins), buns (25 mins), strength intervals (25 mins), speed 2.0 and (gulp) alpha tbc. High 5 ... final week is approaching!

Yumyum - I used C25k to start running a couple of years ago but I bet you are too fit for it...it takes it v.steady. However it is brill for overcoming the psychological barriers. Let us know how you get on with it.

So I feel like I am missing out with you all checking out your MFPs together (FOMO!) so am going to sign up and hang out with you all - do you all have your MN names on there? How do I find you? (clueless)

Sarahlou - exercising in the morning is the only way to go for me - I have to get it out of the way for the day. Today is P90 Chest & Back and Cardio Abs (thank god as my legs are killing me from Legs & Back and yesterday's run) and am about to start in a mo'.

YumYum - apologies for not keeping up, but when you say final week is approaching - is that the final week of a 12 week program? I am trying to remember when you started the last thread and how long we have all been exercising and what goals we have reached? Might it be good to have a reminder of everyone's goals so we can track each other's progress together and for newbies to know what we're all doing etc? (Just checked back to original thread and we're 4 months and 6 days on! Wow that has gone quick). I'll start:

Boobz
Starting weight 9th Jan: c.52kg
Current weight 14th May: 54.6kg
(Completed 88 days of Insanity but then had to take a month off for lumpectomy)
New Regime: Insanity + P90X Hybrid
Goal weight by 6th Aug: 50kg dead
Fitness goal: Run 10km in under 49 minutes; 8 unaided pull ups
Body fat at 15% (don't know what it is currently, or how I will measure this, but it's a goal!)

So here're my stats and goals:

Fullsteamahead
Starting weight 12/02/15: 61.5 kg
Current weight 14th May: 55.8 kg
(Completed T25 Alpha and Beta, T25/Insanity Hybrid)
New Regime: Insanity + P90X Hybrid
Goal weight: 51 kg (no idea when)
Fitness goal: 5 unaided pull ups (when I finally get a pull-up bar!), 15 diamond pushups
Body fat at 15% (currently at 25.9%!!!) so not far to go at all, Lol!

Oh Boobz, forgot to say my legs and inner thighs were killing me for 4 days after Legs and Back last week, got it again tomorrow. It's such a good workout, isn't it!

Good work on the biscuits Sarah! As anyone will see from my mfp I simply had to eat the leftover banana pancakes from yesterday and then the fruit cake and chocolates.....
Rest day for me and am going out for a slap up lunch. Am not even going to bother logging into mfp.
Good idea re stats. Mine are:

Starting weight 69.3kg (!!) 1 jan
Current weight 56.4kg
No goal weight, but would like to look more athletic - prob need to think about a body fat % goal?
Regime - t25 alpha/beta completed. 6wks into max30 and will do max30/t25 hybrid when that's completed.
Fitness goals - run a 55min 10k (not sure quite when/how I'll achieve that!), complete Friday fight 2 without stopping, complete the press ups set in max strength without stopping.
Other goals - keep up exercise regime when I go back to work in 4 wks. Eek.....

PiYo Strength intervals done. It's one of the more enjoyable piyos IMO - faster paced and none of those annoying Warrior 1/2/3 poses Hmm. The timing of Define: Upper caught me out too last week, poppy. Confused

Hmmm. Stats and goals. Struggling a bit for goals so open to any suggestions!!

Height - 5 ft 6 in.
Current weight - 8 st 13.5 lb.
Goal weight - maintain between 8 st 10 and 9 st 0.
Body goals - slimmer more toned thighs! More toned abs and bum.
Fitness goals - get through TBC with no stopping or modifying!
Current workouts: in week 3 of a 4 week T25/PiYo hybrid.
