CONGRATULATIONS Kimmi!
What a babe!!!

Thanks for the update cinnamon - and you triumphed? Fabulous

chutneypig · 13/08/2015 20:41

Congratulations kimmi, he's truly gorgeous. Hope he enjoys his first parkrun!

Excellent news cinnamon.

feetheart · 13/08/2015 23:37

Oh wow, gorgeous baby Kimmi, congratulations :o

Well done cinnamon, frustrating behaviour and stress you didn't need I'm sure?

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 14/08/2015 17:45

Who is running this weekend? I am at home for the first time in a whileSmile

Congratulations karatekimmi on your gorgeous new arrival!

I'm at parkrun tomorrow - pre-event set up. Might not run it as I've picked up a dreadful cold from somewhere. Grrrr Sad

ThursdayLast · 14/08/2015 17:54

Me!

Hoping to get all the way around this week! Saw my poor friend this morning, she was hobbling around the zoo on crutches bless her.

There's a major running event going on this weekend so I expect all my running friends will be volunteering tomorrow! It's a coast path run, with options for 11, 20, 32 or 64 miles Shock!
I didn't sign up for it in the first place - I did 2 miles of coast path near my parents house last summer and it near broke me!

cinnamongreyhound · 14/08/2015 17:54

I'm home too OhOnOhTwoOhThree! And dh said we can leave a bit later next Saturday so I can run before we leave on our holiday, probably means we'll be stuck in loads of traffic but hey, won't say no!

cinnamongreyhound · 14/08/2015 17:56

Looks like a new thread will be needed sometime this weekend Smile

chutneypig · 14/08/2015 18:11

I'm at home for the first time for a few weeks. DS will be doing his 10th run Grin.

Thinking about Lanhydrock later this month depending on a. How brave we're feeling and b. When we're actually travelling. But mostly how brave.

I'm sure the coast path is spectacular Thursday but tough going in places. I'd rather walk Grin.

ThursdayLast · 14/08/2015 19:39

Yes I quite agree chutney!
If you do come to Lanhydrock please do give me a shout. I'm afraid I'm rather slower than normal but if you want some company I'd LOVE it Smile

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 14/08/2015 20:36

Yay to MrCinnamon and holiday plans Smile

64 MILES Thursday

Well done for volunteering drzeus, hope your cold gets better soon

Hope chutneyboy's 10th goes well Grin

Any bright ideas for a new thread title?

#DFYB could be in there somewhere or has it been used before?
Possibly some of the Tribesports quotes - 'parkrunday - formerly known as Saturday'?

I'm volunteering as should be running later when DS is at gymnastics. Just as well as I'm only back from 2nd parkrun curry night and will still be stuffed by the morning! The joys of having our post-parkrun coffee in a mainly Indian cricket club :)
DS is pacing a recovering runner who wants to make sure he doesn't go too fast. He hasn't done it before so we will see how it works out.

Happy parkrunning everyone.

chutneypig · 15/08/2015 06:10

Will do Thursday! I'm pretty slow anywhere, let alone there Grin.

Hope your cold is better this morning drzeus.

You must be so proud of DS feet. Hope it all goes well for him and the recovering runner today.

Managed to sneak in under 30 mins - just!
Though my poor lungs felt like I smoked a pack of twenty last night - I guess that's all the extra blood and bit of weight I'm carrying already?

cinnamongreyhound · 15/08/2015 10:41

That will be the oxygen sucking parasite we like to a foetus ThursdayLast Wink the extra blood should help initially but I just found it was breathing not legs that slowed me when I ran at all stages of my pregnancy.

Lovely chatty 29 minuter for me

ThursdayLast · 15/08/2015 11:15

oxygen sucking parasite sounds about right cinnamon! Yes I feel the same, my limbs are all still working well, but my lungs can't keep up!

Only a few weeks til I can tell everyone - I can't wait, at least they'll understand why my times are going backwards!

HalleLouja · 15/08/2015 15:50

So was hungover and didn't get much sleep so obv get within 11 seconds of my pb. Decided to chase a running club. I beat her last week and she edged ahead today. I encouraged her to parkrun last week and she was back for more.

chutneypig · 15/08/2015 17:00

I'm waiting for DS to come down from his post run high. He loved it when the RD announced it was his tenth run and then he knocked over a minute off his PB. DH and DD got one too.

I'm jealous of your hungover few seconds away Halle. Was still minutes away from mine today. If you're getting that close not feeling great, you can't be far off.

I'm in awe of you lot running while expecting. That still counts as a fast run to me Thursday Grin. Chatty sounds good cinnamon.

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 15/08/2015 17:30

Slow and sociable here Smile - slower than you Thursday and I don't have your excuse!

Well done cinners, and hope the minifeet pacing went well. Wha a smashing boy you have feet

Well done Halle - hungover and still so close to a PB Grin

And extra high fives to chutneyboy and chutneyfamily

I will start a new thread if nobody else has yet Smile
