She's three, she doesn't understand about the neighbours and despite me dancing around to lion king music with a funny hat on AND telling her bottom jokes she had still cried herself to sleep.

Am going to try and shred now quickly as the music is right next to DSs window (17mo) and I don't think he will be sleeping anytime soon. I just checked him and he's stood up in his cot, grinning and squealing while swaying to the music. He didn't nap today though so any minute now he's going to be hysterically tired.

Anyone else going to shred tonight? ITS TOO HOT!

I did 30DS L2D9 this evening. I agree with it being hot - I definitely need a shower.

I've not had a great day either. Despite the fact that I've been doing my job and my ex-colleagues job since last September, my boss keeps picking up small insignificant things that haven't been done or could have been done better and giving me a hard time about them. If is really pissing me off! Seriously, whether or not I've made progress with optimising the configuration of the office is immaterial (I'm a patent attorney, not a space planner)...

BR phase 1 week 4 workout 4 done. I look like I have been dipped in chip fat but I am kidding myself it is actual fat I am sweating and on it being better out than in etc, .

shadows I am raging for you and your little DD, what inconsiderate arses your neighbours are. They are so funny at that age, my DD will be 4 in October, she'd be broken hearted if something like that happened!

I did day 4 of level 3 yesterday evening. Still only moving about a millimeter when doing the superman! finding the scissors crunch just kills my legs but don't really feel it on my abs so reckon I'm not doing that right. That sum-squat thing is a sneaky so-and-so of an exercise. It looks so simple. But then you do 3 of them and feel like your inner thighs are going to explode! I'm getting more used to this level but still I don't like it. I'm going on hols tomorrow (yay!) I'm going to bring my runners and sports bra and that's it. I'll have wifi in the room so will just watch it off youtube on my phone like I do at home. And I'll use bottles of water for my weights. But I think for the 10 days I'm away I'll go back to level 2 for a few and then move on to level 3 again. I am hoping it will be a bit easier because there'll be aircon in the room - I almost melted after shredding last night!!

Keep up the good work ladies, its great to hear how everyone else is doing, keeps me motivated.

Shadows - did your little on sleep? None of mine lasted the night in the tepee and were all in at 11pm.

Oub - time to have a word. Being boss does not mean you can be horrible to your staff.

I have done 30DS Level 1 Day 9. Just wanted to get it out of the way and initially was not enjoying it but then it seemed to go quite quickly.

Drum roll Grin Have lost 0.8lb.

I did Shred L2D6 today. It's starting to feel a bit doable, now, but it's only a Few days before I get onto L3. Gaaah!

My trainers keep slipping on the wood floor. Does anyone have any suggestions for making them a bit stickier?

Evening all! 30DSL1D5 completed. I even managed six proper press ups today and also increased my weights as I thought I could do with pushing myself a bit harder. It was a lot harder!

Going to have 2 days off shredding over the weekend. I like to go for a run on Saturday (I only get to go at weekends now and was a proper running junkie pre-DS) so this will replace tomorrow's shred, and will have a little rest day on Sunday I think.

Macnab - enjoy your hols and don't forget we need a fully comprehensive report on the gin menu!

Shadows - your neighbours sound charming. Your poor DD. Hope you all had a better day today.

Choc - well done, you're nearly there, amazing!

Itsfab - good work! I'm too scared to get on the scales or measure myself yet, maybe at the end of level 1...

Re trainers - no idea I'm afraid but I have been doing barefoot - is this bad? Should I be wearing shoes?

Bloody hell it is HOT this evening! Just done 30DS L2D10 and I'm dripping with sweat. On to level 3 at the weekend...

(Oh - and no point in doing anything about my boss - by this time next week I'll have a new one Smile)

I do it in bare feet which I know is bad.

I still can't do proper press ups, maybe 3 of them, so does that mean I can't go on to level 2? I can't do the tail lift one very well either and don't understand why not Confused.

The neighbours kept it up until early hours. I've had revenge today, I've played Disney songs loudly in the garden all day. Grin

30DSL3D6. I whizzed through it today! This may have been fuelled by two things. Thing 1 - I ate a whole tub of Ben and Jerry's Phish food for my dinner and had 2 dominos cookies after lunch. BAD. Thing 2 - ex has kids this weekend, I haven't seen him for 3 weeks and he always used to call me fat and wobbly so want to feel my best tomorrow when he turns up to collect DCs.

This means I have lovely weekend planned though. I normally see friends but I fancy some solitude so I'm going into the city tomorrow to do holiday clothes shopping for me and DCs. I'm having lunch in a lovely vegetarian cafe which does the most amazing food, and you never feel weird going in there on your tod. I am then going to the cinema on my own which I love as no one keeps taking to you about what's going on. Then Sunday I plan on reading my new book and having an epic lie in. Bliss.

I shred bare foot too btw, I find I can jump better when I'm shoeless, just make sure you do ankle circles first.

Feel slimmer. Then I get into bed and reality hits SadBlush.

30DSL2D4 done today after 2 rest days (weren't supposed to be but couldn't seem to make time). Also watched 6W6P, looks a bit scary but working up to giving it a go!

Shadows your neighbours sound like arses, hope your weekend is going well.

Itsfab, I still can't do proper push ups. My arm strength isn't very good. I'm hoping it will increase so I can do proper ones next time around! If you feel ready to move to the next level then do it!

Been offline a few days but not off the shred.

Just done first day of L3. Those of you who said L3 was easier than level 2 are crackers. I found that TOUGH. Could hardly do any of circuit 3. Experience with previous levels tells me I'll get there in 8 days or so.

In other news 2 whole people have told me look "slim" and "fit". Including my normally oblivious DSis. I'm still a good stone and a half over my ideal weight but good to know 20 days of shredding is showing!

Had a rest day yesterday but have done 30DS L3 D9 today, just one more day to go! Still not entirely sure what I'm doing next, tempted to redo shred but following. Natalie from the beginning, or may move onto ripped...decisions decisions.

The level 3 video I usually watch on YouTube had disappeared, did manage to find another one luckily, although I know the exercises now I don't think I'd be disciplined enough without the video to egg me on!

I've just done the 1st day of 30DS level 3 too. I agree that it is tough - I think I'll mostly be following Anita! I really felt like I was going to die doing those rockstar jumps. It all seems to be legs on this level (well legs + abs).

my partner and i just did our first session of 30 day shred, he found the aerobics tougher than me, but my shoulders ache now!

I've just done 6W6P back to back with the shred (L1 though as it's a bit gentler on my back!), that's day 15 overall, definitely seeing an increase in strength and stamina if nothing else! Couldn't do some of the moves in 6W6P though so was a bit of a half assed attempt!

Back from hols (haven't caught up with the thread yet). Managed two sessions during the week and just done another this afternoon. So, I'm now up to day 18 overall, level 2, day 13. Will switch up to level 3 tomorrow - I won't miss level 2!

30DS L3 D2 done. I think I did a bit more of it today. Am full Anita, though, hardly a hint of Natalie.

That last abs move (side raises) I can hardly lift up more than a couple of millimetres!

Might try barefoot too as everyone else is! Although I suspect my footwear is the least of my problems!
