Okay, it's not just 30 Day Shred anymore but if you would like to log your daily JM fix and get some tips and tricks from fellow Shredders, step this way.

I've lost the thread I was posting on, so can I join you?

I have just done D3L2 of the shred. I have a cough, which is hurting my lower abs, so I have been doing the double crunches with one leg, then swapping after a while. I have a lot of trouble with the plank ones where you jump in and out, (so I sometimes do the Anita option) but not the "plank jacks", strangely.

I can feel my muscles hardening up, under the flab, but the flab is still there, on top. I haven't lost any weight, either.

I always understood that if you have more muscle, you burn more calories, even when not exercising, so maybe it will start to come off as I get stronger?

I am about to do day 5 shred. I made the kids walk to the shop this morning and I carried back some heavy shopping. We were out for 1.5 hours but I assume the point of the 30 day shred is that you do it every day?

Plus DS1 and I have made bounty bars from scratch and I want to try one Grin.

Just did day 5. It hurt in parts but it was definitely easier than yesterday and at times I was enjoying the achievement feeling Shock.

Only worry is after the sit ups I did have a bit of pulling in my c section scar area.

Having a sit down for a bit now feeling nicely warm and virtuous Grin.

Hope everyone else is doing okay.

30DS L1 D1 complete, despite DS's best attempts to sabotage it by waking up screaming at the beginning of circuit 3....Confused I am currently lying on his bedroom floor waiting for him to fall back asleep so I can grab a shower. Let's just hope I can get back up!

I actually found it ok and pleasantly surprised myself that I didn't die. Sure the next couple of days will be harder with achey muscles though...Grin I didn't do the bicycle crunches though in case my stomach muscles couldn't take it, just did some pelvic tilts and the zip exercise instead.

Bring on day 2!

Did 1st day of level 3 today and I am still alive...just! It was tough but do-able, though I know I will never be able to do Anita-style jump lunges, my knees would never take it.
itsfab how we're the homemade bounty bars? Sound delicious :)

Well done Spots! My DC are very good at sabotage in the form of running at me and jumping on me and hiding my weights so I now tend to exercise when they are in bed! Good move on the subbed in exercises on circuit three. I'm doing the same ATM after a set back last week.

Right am off to do my shred as want to be out in the garden when it gets dark to see if Prickles comes back/ is ok.

30DSL3D3 done. I think I need heavier weighs for this level. I found 2kg hard for level 2 but too easy for this level!

Was sick on Sun, so didn't shred. Then had to restore myself yesterday with naughty pasta and bread and butter and didn't shred again. So had a 2 day rest and missed the great hedgehog rescue and all sorts!

Anyways, back on it today. 30DSL2D7 done. And it's my fortnightly weigh-in day. To recap: did one week of detox dieting and 3 weeks of shred (with the odd rest) and I've lost 3-tummy-inches and 10lbs.

I'm using 1kg for L2 but after a couple of days break I actually found the strength moves easier (!!) and even managed all the cardio-planks so might up to 2kg tomorrow.

Morning everyone!

So, I can still move although I know I have done some exercise this morning! Grin But that just means it's working, right? Didn't get round to measuring myself before yesterday but am going to try to do so today so I have a starting point. I am quite motivated by numbers (not always a good thing!)

Shadows I have to hide the weights from DS who thinks they are the best toy ever!

Forgot to check in yesterday but I gave now done L1 D3&4. Feeling ok. Is it just me or is the cool down a bit short? I need to do way more stretches.

I'm dying...ok, maybe I just have a cold, lol, but between the achey joints and headache I'm having a couple of days off, I feel not as bad today so I'll try tomorrow.

jocasta - carnation milk mixed with icing sugar and then add dessicated coconut and mixed until no dry bits are visible.

Put in a tin and flatten down. Refrigerate until firm.

Melt 2 bars of chocolate. Slice the coconut mixture into bars and dip in the chocolate. Back in to the fridge until set.

Took the kids swimming this morning. Learnt to do front crawl Grin.

Looking forward to shredding in a bit Shock. Still not lost any weight Sad. Will keep going though.

Am back from exhausting day at the zoo. We walked there which involved two buses and a walk at each end and I was on my own with the DCs who, when in an exciting place like a zoo, run in opposite directions at the same time and don't respond to bribery threats or mummy threatening to feed them to the lions! I am feeling like a dead thing but can't have another rest day this week so will aim to shred later. Someone kick me if in not back by 10pm saying I've done it!

I have done shred number 6 and it was easy Shock. I can not understand it. I am fat and unfit and managed it all except for 2 x 3 seconds of stopping. Best ever. Really hoping to see some weight loss soon but last night I was sure I didn't have as big a sticky out tummy as I had before.

Had to do DCs bedtime so couldn't do it earlier. I've tidied up, they're both in bed, just going to feed the animals and then I shall crack on with it.

Have you taken measurements ItsFab?

I have exciting news on my separation ... You know how it'd got awful after I stopped doing the transverse exercises ... Well I've been doing them like mad, subbing in the ab exercises and .... (Drum roll) ONE FINGER SPACE!!! I've closed the separation back to 1 finger space, tummy is not huge and bulgy anymore, it's flat but when I contract transverse it goes in more, but not a lot more. Im back to how it was pre shred, so now I just need to keep going and hopefully I can get it back to no separation! And you can now all breathe a sigh of relief as it means I will shut up posting long winded whinges about my tummy Grin

30DSL3D4 done. My abs held for all the planks moves today. Am pleased I managed it after today, i definitely have hugely increased stamina now compared to pre shred. I'd never have managed that much walking today on its own let alone doing shred this evening as well! Go me!

D1 of L3 and it's easier than L2 for me - easier insofar as I can do attempt all the moves except the sit ups.

I had another unexpected rest day yesterday because my shoulder was very sore. Seems better today - just done 30DS L2D8. Should be on level 3 by the end of the week - suppose I should think about watching it through beforehand.
