Adding my 10k from last night makes 657.5
I so enjoyed it! Loads of people I've started chatting to at parkrun were there which made it a really good experience.
It was damn hilly though. Like super dooper steep undulations, but I didn't walk once
What distance is the GYR Kitty? Last night was my first proper race too, having pre-registered it was easy to follow the signs to pick up my number and then ask around for the start line etc.
Don't forget safety pins! Four of them.
I find pacing myself quite tricky -even at parkrun I tend to go off too fast, but I'm the opposite of cinnamon. I prefer to use my first flush of excitement to get going and settle into my pace further on.
Exciting!
I loved it so much I'm looking up the rest of the multi terrain races
