Lovely morning here too - 3.5 miles listening to birdsong.

Shock at your frost last night cinnamon

Hope poorly DD feels better soon Polka

Well done on your hills sassy

Liking the pictures Smile

I've just logged in online to see pics, those capris look fabbo, but I prefer the sound of the leopard ones!

I love seeing where you're all running, especially in this weather.

Sirzy, going fir a walk is next on my agenda. About to go and meet a friend and take DS out in the pushchair too Smile

TessTackle · 15/04/2014 10:57

Only managed 3.81 miles today, most but not all running. I went to a different park than usual and that along with the heat (and running in a huge black tshirt) made a massive difference unfortunately. Think I'll put those capris on hold and look for a cap and some loose vests instead!

I forgot to take a photo :( I might walk my run route to go shopping later so I'll take one then.

Well done sassy

Polka and sirzy they're both beautiful pics!

PolkaSpottyDotty · 15/04/2014 11:04

Unfortunately that pic isn't home, I was away visiting family at the weekend. Wish I was back there now! My usual route doesn't involve anything green.

Theonlyoneiknow · 15/04/2014 11:32

Oh we can add pics! I didn't know that!

I ran down to this beach at the weekend, then round the coast path which goes around the hill in the background. It was a gorgeous day and was finally able to run in short sleeves!

I like the H&M sports gear. I managed to pick up two pairs of padded cycling leggings for 2 each reduced from 24.99 last week! Shame none of the running tights were reduced though. I also like the Decathalon stuff - well priced. I have their thermal winter running tights. Too self conscious for anything but black ones though!

I'm in capri pants and tshirts most days now, but often regret it for the first mile or two.

Well done on your PB zombie

Hope all those with sore legs recover quickly.

Another treadmill run for me later when I get out of this conference. The sun is shining but I don't want to get lost.

TessTackle · 15/04/2014 11:38

Oooooh only that's gorgeous! I'm so jealous!

Theonlyoneiknow · 15/04/2014 11:41

I found that arm warmers are good for when you need a compromise between wearing a jacket or just a t-shirt. Mainly wear them in winter though ontop of my long sleeved top and a sleeveless thermal vest thing. Haven't tried them with bare arms yet!

EauRouge · 15/04/2014 11:47

I get so hot when I run, I'm in T shirt and shorts now. On the lookout for a new running vest but a lot of them seem to be very low-cut Confused

Sirzy · 15/04/2014 12:10

I have a nice winter running top from decathalon. I don't like running with a jacket on find it too restrictive - maybe i just need a better one though!

Eau that's my problem too, I want a vest that doesn't draw attention to my rather large boobs. I'm considering a men's one maybe?

Sirzy · 15/04/2014 12:23

I haven't looked at vests yet but that will be an issue for me, I have been quite pleased with how nicely the running t-shirts i have sit. I do have a vest I got free from special k but that is too big on me unfortnatly

EauRouge · 15/04/2014 12:27

I had a vest from H&M last year but it's really cheap and clingy and is cut much lower than my sports bra so looks really stupid.

I might order this one.

Sirzy · 15/04/2014 12:29

I like this one www.decathlon.co.uk/kiprun-race-tank-top-pink-id_8296670.html i am neat a decathalon on saturday so may nip in and have a look

Or this.

Sirzy · 15/04/2014 12:35

www.wiggle.co.uk/asics-ladies-sprint-tank-top-aw13/ I like that one too.

Now resisiting spending more money on running clothes

EauRouge · 15/04/2014 12:46

My choice is restricted somewhat by the fact that I hate pink.

Theonlyoneiknow · 15/04/2014 12:50

I popped into Sports Direct at lunchtime, first time ever - what a maze! I tried on the Karrimor running vests, they were really comfy and only 7 (or 2 for 12) shame their leggings didn't look so great

Sirzy · 15/04/2014 12:53

Thankfully I like pink so the overwhelming sea of pink in womans running clothes isn't too bad! Although most of my stuff is blue and purple

PolkaSpottyDotty · 15/04/2014 13:24

Holy shit.

Marathon. Registered.

Eek.

EauRouge · 15/04/2014 13:27

No way! Which one?

PolkaSpottyDotty · 15/04/2014 13:31

Brighton :)

postmanpatscat · 15/04/2014 13:37

Yikes dotty !!

I'm not a big fan of pink but I do like the drivers to be able to see me when they try to run me over wait nicely for me to cross the road so it has its advantages.

Sirzy · 15/04/2014 13:38

exciting PolkA - is that next april?

OP posts:
PolkaSpottyDotty · 15/04/2014 13:40

Yes, Sirzy Shock

I've got the Karrimor leggings, they look better on than on the hanger and they're really comfortable.
