'have' arrived dear, please do work on your grammar....

thereareflowersinmygarden · 22/07/2018 12:54

So, that benefit?

Anybody?

At all?

A tangible one. A genuine improvement in quality of life.

Waiting.....

Rachel9956 · 22/07/2018 12:54

sure:

  1. Leave ECJ control
  2. Be able to control borders without sanction
  3. Remove vast annual payments to EU
  4. Freedom to make trade deals
  5. Make our own regulations regarding goods
surferjet · 22/07/2018 12:54

MrsChollySawcutt · 22/07/2018 12:56

'Have' why do you need a plural dear?

Work on your own grammar you imbecile.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 22/07/2018 12:57

*1. Leave ECJ control

  1. Be able to control borders without sanction
  2. Remove vast annual payments to EU
  3. Freedom to make trade deals
  4. Make our own regulations regarding goods*

No, those are the unicorn shit promises.

How is life going to be better under Brexit or no deal Brexit? For me, as a worker, consumer, parent, dog owner?

thereareflowersinmygarden · 22/07/2018 12:59
  1. Leave ECJ control

Why is that a benefit? I like having that extra layer of judicial appeals and review.

  1. Be able to control borders without sanction

We have that anyway.

  1. Remove vast annual payments to EU

And the money we make and get back. They're not that vast as a proportion of GDP anyway.

  1. Freedom to make trade deals

As long as Trump says so, or did you miss the toadying the other week?

  1. Make our own regulations regarding goods

Nope. Won't get that. In order to export to EU (and most of our exports go there) we will still have to follow them.

thereareflowersinmygarden · 22/07/2018 13:01

And none of those will improve my quality of life, or that of my son.

Cobblersandhogwash · 22/07/2018 13:02

You know, I am starting to hope we have no deal crashing out just so all the Leavers can face the chaos. Suckers.

JRM says it could be up to 50 years before we might see any benefits of Brexshit.

He, on the other hand, will benefit greatly from not being subject to the tax avoidance laws that come into effect next spring. Just like all the other millionaires.

Plus we will be so desperate for a deal with Trump, the NHS will become part of the negotiations.

Chardonnays:

'dog owner' has nothing to do with anything

surferjet · 22/07/2018 13:04

What’s happening to dog owners post Brexit?

prettybird · 22/07/2018 13:04

Intelligentsia is a noun treated as singular or plural. So before you attack someone for poor grammar Rachel rather than address the point - check your facts and don't make a fool if yourself Hmm

https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/intelligentsia

Or is the Oxford Dictionary too elitist for you? Hmm

Rachel9956 · 22/07/2018 13:04

We can't violate FOM without sanction under the current regime

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 22/07/2018 13:05

I though you knew all about Brexit.

What do you think will happen to dog passports and the travel scheme?

thereareflowersinmygarden · 22/07/2018 13:06

Nothing, but the dogs will hump your leg raw in gratitude for the brave, new world you will have helped bring into being.

surferjet · 22/07/2018 13:07

What do you think will happen to dog passports and the travel scheme?

Is this a piss take?

Dogs have passports?

Sweet.

OP posts:
Rachel9956 · 22/07/2018 13:08

'intelligentsia' is an uncountable noun - hence, 'have' is the correct form

thereareflowersinmygarden · 22/07/2018 13:08

We can't violate FOM without sanction under the current regime

And how does that translate into not being able to control our borders?

Never heard of Sangette?

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 22/07/2018 13:09

Under a no deal Brexit or a hard Brexit I won't be able to travel with them.

It might seem mundane to some, but it's an illustration of now Brexit will affect everyday life in ways no one though about.

Rachel9956 · 22/07/2018 13:09

dog's will just have to go for a walk in the local park then, boo hoo

BertrandRussell · 22/07/2018 13:10

Of course dogs have passports. Or the equivalent, if you want to travel with them. Do you really not know rht?

Rachel9956 · 22/07/2018 13:11

flowers:

it means the levarage to not control borders is too great to cut down immigration

Sangette - ? do you mean the refugee camp?

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 22/07/2018 13:11

Dogs have passports

How did you think they travel?

Rachel9956 · 22/07/2018 13:12

chardonnay:
sure , let's just not bother with Brexit then cos your dog's pissed
