Good morning Smile

Voting to leave the European Union was a monumental decision, and one that will change the direction of our Country for decades to come.
I see that as an exciting opportunity & something to be welcomed & celebrated.

So, if you see solutions instead of problems, if you see a better future for the citizens of U.K., free from the constraints of an organisation we had no control over, then this place is for you.
Of course not everything is going to run smoothly, maybe not for years, because leaving a union drowning in red tape was never going to be easy, but we are forward thinking progressive people who know the future doesn’t just mean next week.
So, here’s to our new future,
To the future of the U.K. Wine
The countdown begins.........

The fact is it is neither big nor clever to wish for something when you have no clue what it's repercussions are.

IT:S NEVER BLOODY HAPPENED BEFORE.
Are you thick or something...

To give an example you might understand; you don't need to be a brain surgeon to understand that if someone has a brain tumour, it needs to be removed.
Leavers would hire someone to do it who is trained, Remain see to think they can DIY it...

Bearbehind · 18/02/2018 17:21

The 'thick' one round here isn't me mummmy

You seem to think the fact it hasn't happened before in an excuse for having no fucking idea about anything.

In what other walk of life would that happen?

Did the first people to send a shuttle into space say 'no fucking idea what's going to happen but we think it'll be fine'?

No, they checked every single possible outcome they could think of and made contingencies fior them all.

Only the very last bit was chance.

Unlike your view when the whole bloody thing is on a wing and a prayer.

If you wanted to have any credibility on these threads you'd attempt to explain how you think it's possible to deal with the transition between jumping off a cliff edge and having the infrastructure to cope with that choice.

You are the biggest advocate round here for just walking away; how do you think that would work in practice?

mummmy2017 · 18/02/2018 17:22

I really do think you need to look somewhere else for the answers you need.
Almost all leavers here agree they know they don't know the answwers that YES we are willing to jump , hope and pray, trust in the UK to be able to do what the UK has ALWAYS done Regroup and Progress.
I believe in the UK, very passionately as somewhere that can sort things, that I got my vote and to know it will come to pass.
You can chuck all the what if;s you like around but until something is presented we are all in the dark, the difference is I know it will be sorted becasue it has to be and will be the future, while your clinging to the pass.

TalkinPeace · 18/02/2018 17:22

mummmy
Yup, its never happened before.

Elon Musk had never launched his car into space before
but he checked and tested every possible scenario
and allowed people to critique him
and built on any related experience
WELL IN ADVANCE

Because he's not a moron

TalkinPeace · 18/02/2018 17:23

Belief in things does not put food on the table or keep the lights on
only hard work and logical testing do that

Peregrina · 18/02/2018 17:24

Leavers would hire someone to do it who is trained, Remain see to think they can DIY it...

Wrong way round - who on earth think that Bumbling Boris, Fox and Davis are trained for anything, yet they have been put in charge of Brexit.

Bearbehind · 18/02/2018 17:24

Lol- x post talk!

Leavers still don't get it though Hmm

mummmy2017 · 18/02/2018 17:25

I'm Sorry Bear, but I dont' need to answer question that I don't have answers to just to satisfy your demands, personally you come over as slightly .....

Outside of MN people understand we just have to wait and see. So suck it up Buttercup.

Bearbehind · 18/02/2018 17:27

Leavers would hire someone to do it who is trained

Trained at what?

That's precisely the point here- you need to know what you want to know how best to deal with it.

In the example I gave you don't know if you need a brain surgeon or a gynaecologist.

TalkinPeace · 18/02/2018 17:27

mummmy
Outside of MN people understand we just have to wait and see
Oh no they do not.
THey know that PPPPPP
And that is why everybody who is looking at facts and evidence
knows that Brexit - as it is currently heading - will be a disaster.

PS Why is the WTO just fine and dandy when the EU is a bad thing

Bearbehind · 18/02/2018 17:28

So suck it up Buttercup

And there was you hero Boris saying you needed to move on from "we won you lost"

Tut tut.

AgnesSkinner · 18/02/2018 17:30

Greenland voted to leave in 1982 - one industry (fishing) and less than 60,000 people, and it still took over 100 meetings with EU officials and several years to negotiate.

Who'd have thought Brexit would be quite so complicated Hmm

surferjet · 18/02/2018 17:32

The problem was, David Cameron didn’t think leave would win.
So blame him not us.

OP posts:
Bearbehind · 18/02/2018 17:34

surfer when will you understand, it's not about blame, it's about you owning your decision and coming up with some practical solutions to the process of leaving?

surferjet · 18/02/2018 17:39

You can’t blame the voters for the lack of preparation - how were we supposed to know what was ( or wasn’t ) going on behind the scenes?
We were given a choice to stay or go, we weren’t told if leave win we’d have to sort it all out.

So remainers - give it a rest now, you’re becoming increasingly ridiculous with each passing month.

OP posts:
mummmy2017 · 18/02/2018 17:40

If you were to ask people the questions your DEMANDING we answer you would find 75% said we don't know, and then get blooming cross at the way your all carrying on.

A wise person knows what they don't know...

YOUR ALSO SUPPOSED TO CALL OFF THE ATTACK DOGS>>>>> OR should we say Bear in this case

mummmy2017 · 18/02/2018 17:41

WE ARE NOT BLOODY QUALIFIED>
We know we are not qualified...
So being a twat Bear

Peregrina · 18/02/2018 17:45

Now if the Leavers could get together and say, for example, preserving the NHS is their No. 1 priority, then I think they would find that a lot or Remainers could get behind that objective too. As it stands though, May has not ruled out trading access to the NHS by American firms for Trade Deals with the Americans.

Bearbehind · 18/02/2018 17:46

you’re becoming increasingly ridiculous with each passing month.

The sooner you realise the reverse is actually true, the better.

You are not going to get what you want from Brexit, on account of the fact no 2 of you want the same thing.

In fact most of you have absolutely no idea what you want at all.

If you did, this thread would have been full of plans and ideas.

Bearbehind · 18/02/2018 17:49

stop being a twat bear

Nice, we're down to insult now are we?

Thats about number 4 in the Leavers bumper book of excuses for not engaging in conversation.

I'm also intrigued how I'm a twat for providing factually accurate, reason based discussion compared to your emotional, irrational codswallop.

mummmy2017 · 18/02/2018 17:50

We do have a common goal, we wanted out.

Just like you all wanted to stay.

SusanWalker · 18/02/2018 17:50

So do I take it that no one has an issue with the ECJ? In that case would you consider the option of customs union/single market if the government decided it was the best way forward after all?

Bearbehind · 18/02/2018 17:52

Just like you all wanted to stay.

No, we understood we were not in a position to leave.

I don't expect you to understand that subtle difference mummmy

mummmy2017 · 18/02/2018 17:53

May has said many times she won't go for that as she wants free trade.

We don't want to be part of the EU, we want to TRADE with the EU.

mummmy2017 · 18/02/2018 17:54

Bear had this been true, then don't you think the Referendum would not been run at all.

It was stop looking to the past, it's happened.
