greenwood has answered it already. But considering the climate change, I do not think that living o a small island with millions of people and the population projection of uk is the answer. With EU, you basically are throwing off land. We need land. I am not sure if anyone has any idea how much and what kind of food will be grown here even if we somehow manage to use all the arable land we have.
Is there a plan or do we make it as we go?

Sorry but that's borderline delusion. All this talk of the boys and May. This is probably the most right wing government in decades. And incompetent.

  1. David Davis (minister for BREXIT itself) had no idea until April this year how the EU trade deals work.

  1. Andrea Leadsom. I don't even know where to start on her.

  1. And our very own BoJo! Has insulted half the world. Lied through his teeth and is now the FM hence the joke is on us.

  1. Theresa May: In her first PMQs, she did everything except answering the questions, was making jokes, making personal attacks.

To be fair its about as promising as Cameron. At least he was elected.

Something to make us all feel better
TM was probably appointed because she is likely to fail

And well fracking has already started anyway.
All the possible stops have been used (National Park refusing fracking etc etc) but DC has conveniently made all the possible stops disappear.
So fracking is starting the North Yorkshire Moors despite opposition from the locals, the National Park etc etc

Yes fracking has started, the government has overturned some councils decisions, however, without having to adhere to the EU directives will make it will speed up the process and will become much more prevalent.

What on earth is incompetent about May's government Valentine? She's only been PM for a few days. I certainly don't have that opinion of her first PM's questions and thought she gave plenty of answers.
You do seem very bitter.

I have spent ages on these two threads to find a plan from Leave voters and got none after 33 pages. Doesn't look like something to be happy about.
Read my previous posts please for other points.

Well, I can't speak for Valentine - but Ifeel bitter, it probably comes across in my posts. WTF do you expect? I want to stay in the EU. The campaign talked people over on lies how do you expect us to feel? Overjoyed about the result because we've jumped off a cliff and "it might be ok in a decade or so"?? My children come of age in that decades that you've crashed and burned!

Under - I really don't think you see that we leavers feel exactly the same way. But we don't want anything to do with the EU, we feel strongly that there were loads of lies and threats on the remain side. We can see how it will work and no matter how much better, more knowledgeable posters than me try and explain our position we are told we are talking nonsense as there are no facts.

Please please please please show me the facts that I have been trying to ignore and that you have tried so hard to present. Please I almost beg you. Sad

What lies on the remain side, Corcory?

Report

Corcory :

Here are the lies told by Leave:

That the Eu is an unelected bureaucracy

That they force their laws on us (55% was it?) - a lie.

That £350 could go to the NHS

That places in receipt of EU subsidies would have them matched by the govt

That 'we' can take back control. And I give you: Theresa May's govt. With Boris as Foreign secretary.

It was all lies. There are more, I'm sure. They've reneged on them all - how exactly do you feel exactly the same about it as I do?

How exactly does the emergency budget threat compare to all of that? And no, we don't have armedeggan just^ yet - but listen to Lord Webber's speech in the House of Lord's and tune into news of NATO and Putin and weep.

www.theyworkforyou.com/lords/?id=2016-07-05b.1899.2&s=speaker%3A13305#g1907.0

Read it and weep. If you have sons, and I have two, weep some more. Then, dismiss as project fear, if you dare.

We need a strong Europe - think back to the roots of the EU - the result of devastating war in Europe. And you've let that union slip through your fingers... why?

I am still here because I don't want out. And I don't want to move abroad either. I would spend all my life here happily roaming around my little village and university and reading books and growing old and closing my eyes on this world in this place.
These lying scumbags of politicians and their media have taken that from me and Leave voters acted on their agenda. Now complaining I am bitter.

That is not delusional. What you have said belongs in Trump's agenda perfectly: the 27 FMs are plotting against the great British Empire.
That's not delusional of you or Theresa May. That's deranged.

Oh bengal. We have relations with Russia. The cold war is over etc. But honestly, Putin wanted this. He wants a fragmented Europe. The more the better. EU as a political union of 28 countries was massively important - we were very strong. We were allowed not to join the EU, no Schengen etc. Honestly - we had an amazingly strong position.

All this crap about bureaucracy is just that - crap - We have done ourselves a massive disservice here, peace wise.
