Are you still sane?

Will this insanity ever end?

Agree RTB. This smells like a hot foodstuff which as suddenly started attracting vat.

JamieVardysParty · 30/06/2016 13:09

Nothing will convince me otherwise that Sarah Vine has played the biggest blinder of all.

ObiWanCannelloni · 30/06/2016 13:10

howabout Sky saying Dr Fox voted against gay marriage with Crabbe but Leadsome abstained, aye....

Liam fox doesn't accept that free market movement of resources is part of an economic union then instead thinks its some kind of new fangled political correctness .
Its interesting he thinks he can carry enough support to win....

Peregrina · 30/06/2016 13:10

May seconded by Justine Greening, who has just come out as being in a same sex union. JG also a Tory who grew up in a very working class area. Is this TM genuinely trying to reach out to the neglected parts of the country?

Hamishandthefoxes · 30/06/2016 13:11

Jamie - I'd go with Dacre and Murdoch personally. How much would it be worth to have the pm as your puppet?

GingerIvy · 30/06/2016 13:11

Don't know whether or not genuine, but certainly well played. I did wonder about JG's timing.

Am told @angelaeagle may not announce candidacy at 3, so MPs can have "period of reflection" about why they have lost confidence in leader
1:00 PM - 30 Jun 2016

GingerIvy · 30/06/2016 13:12

Period of reflection? She sounds like a loon.

GingerIvy · 30/06/2016 13:13

If the last week hasn't inspired them to reflect, then they're never going to figure things out.

ObiWanCannelloni · 30/06/2016 13:13

Jamie I'm torn as to whether she was just a "pawn" with her convenient email written by Dacre's team

Showmethewaytogohome · 30/06/2016 13:14

God it's awful to choose the best of a bad bunch isn't it

I would go with anyone but Crabbe, Gove and Dr Fox. Homophobes are up there with the zenophobes for me. Gove needs no explaination

So one of the wimmin

Scotland's potential future - out of the EU, with Michael Gove or Theresa May as PM. It fair focusses the mind.

GingerIvy · 30/06/2016 13:15

Teresa May probably has the edge with negotiations between the two women.

MitzyLeFrouf · 30/06/2016 13:15

'Sky saying Dr Fox voted against gay marriage with Crabbe but Leadsome abstained, aye'

But isn't Fox himself gay??

MajesticWhine · 30/06/2016 13:17

Just saw the news on boris. I'm at work so a bit behind the times. Boris has been well and truly shafted after all. Thinking of you lot. This thread called it first. Grin

Showmethewaytogohome · 30/06/2016 13:18

Mitzy

Probably - but he doesn't know it From his wiki:

While studying medicine at Glasgow University in the early 1980s, Fox resigned his position on the university's Students Representative Council (SRC) in protest at the council passing a motion condemning the decision of the university's Glasgow University Union (GUU) not to allow a gay students society to join the union. The SRC motion called both the union's decision and the explanations given for it "bigoted".

RedToothBrush · 30/06/2016 13:19

I was just about to post about Angela Eagle.

U Turn on the cards???!

OP posts:
GingerIvy · 30/06/2016 13:20

Wiki also says this:

On 10 June 2005, he announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Jesme Baird, a doctor who works at the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and is an alumna of the University of Glasgow. They married at St Margaret's Church opposite Parliament on 17 December 2005.[104]

JamieVardysParty · 30/06/2016 13:21

Oh I know howabout - a close relative is a HT on an academic panel to represent teachers in meetings with Gove/her.

They have had raging arguments with her in the past because she's gone against her word.

Just another example for me of that by her.

GingerIvy · 30/06/2016 13:21

It appears her constituency is not happy with her. Either way, she's going to have fallout from this.

GingerIvy · 30/06/2016 13:21

Sorry - that was about Angela Eagle.

MitzyLeFrouf · 30/06/2016 13:22

Fab gif on this guy's Twitter feed of Nadine Dorries having a little cry over Boris! Grin

There is talk that Owen Smith will stand instead of Angela Eagle. Or, as the BBC so incisively put it, 'um...a man called Owen Smith'. Grin

MitzyLeFrouf · 30/06/2016 13:30

Who the hell is Owen Smith?

John Smith's remains would probably have more hope of uniting the Labour party!

(no disrespect intended Mr Smith just in case you're reading this thread from another realm)
