Did you marry your university boyfriend?

I have just been looking at the Oxbridge thread and noticed that a lot of relationships survived. Is this peculiar to these universities?
I'm thinking that on graduating they all stayed in the SE or London.

We stayed south. Most friends I know that married young are still together though!

Met at uni but got together just after (same crowd of uni friends). DD born one year later (oops) and now 16. Married in 2000. Happy as happy things.

Also met at uni, not Oxbridge but St. Andrews and have been together for 8 years now, married 4 and 2 DC as I was stupid enough not to go for a much more valuable classmate of his and would have been wearing Alexander McQueen on my wedding day along with a nice sapphire heirloom damn it :o

Yes. I was 19 he was 23. I'm now 37 and he is 41. We have two dds. We are both teachers. lol

Yes met in our last year at uni in Leicester, got married the next year (aged 22 and 23!). 10 years later now have 3 dc and have emigrated to NZ with husband's job. Still happy :)

Yes. Different unis, same city though. :)

CMOT, Gary, Iwish, skibum, there must be something about Cardiff too then . I met DH during freshers (he was a 2nd year) and we've been together ever since married 9 years with 2 dc and together 18 years next month . He moved to London after graduation and I followed him 2 years later. We now live overseas.

My parents also met at Uni (Poly then).
