Managed to get 14 items listed tonight! So tired i can hardly focus so i hope i haven't made any mistakes!
Here's my items.

mogs0 · 10/10/2010 23:08

I've listed a couple more. I'm stopping with that for today - I can feel myself falling asleep at the pc!

I have barely scratched the surface so will have to list a few things each day for the next 2 months and I might actually be able to get to some of the cupboards that have been blocked by things waiting to be ebayed for goodness knows how long Blush.

How has everyone done tonight?

I have one item ending tomorrow that is creeping up in price. I think it might stay as it is now.

Tobermory · 11/10/2010 09:18

Hi all, can i join you? Am starting an ebay listathon though not sure if £300 is out of reach.
Listed some stuff over the weekend to take advantage of free listings, here but no bids as yet Sad

overthemill · 11/10/2010 16:52

i listed 53 items - not as good as last free weekend and some are relistings - which funnily enough I have loads more interest in this time. Funny world.
good luck all

mogs0 · 11/10/2010 17:53

Tobermory - your pics all look very nice! Almost makes me broody Grin...almost!!

Over - that's a mega amount of items!

Another item ended today for an ok price - I think I'd have got a bit more if it'd ended in the evening but hey-ho, it all helps! I'm 1/3 of the way to the target so far and really need to get last years bags of ebay stuff sorted and re-photographed!

I have a huge Playmobil set that I bought for ds but can't decide whether to give it to him or not (and put it on ebay).

Is it a bit early to start listing toys for Christmas? I sold lots last year but I think I might have waited until November to put them on.

Dumbledoresgirl · 11/10/2010 18:48

I don't think it is too early for toys mogs. I am only selling toys and had 2 bids within hours of listing them, and have watchers for nearly all of them already.

Tortoise · 11/10/2010 19:22

I am leaving it a bit longer to list toys. I need to sort out DD2's My little pony bits because she doesn't want them anymore. DS2 has a nice remote control car to sell.
I think it does depend on the toy. Duplo will sell well any time of year i think. Mine sold really well when i put it on Ebay.

mogs0 · 11/10/2010 19:25

Thanks both. I'll try and sort through some toys tomorrow and see what similar things are going for.

I have a couple of bids so far. I really must remove myself from the pc though otherwise I spend all night checking for new bids/watchers!

Tobermory · 11/10/2010 21:09

Thanks mogs, do you want to put in a cheeky bid just in case?! Wink

mogs0 · 11/10/2010 21:36

Ha, ha!!...NO!

DeadlyNightShadeofViolet · 12/10/2010 14:14

Can I join in with you ladies. :)

I listed some stuff last night (already have a couple of bids) - I am trying to get £235 by Christmas. I need to pay for my next OU course!

DeadlyNightShadeofViolet · 12/10/2010 15:17

[[http://shop.ebay.co.uk/mummyjfn09/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340 here are my items]

I have lots of duplo and Bri which I am holding back to post next month ready for the Christmas rush (fingers crossed!)

DeadlyNightShadeofViolet · 12/10/2010 15:17

try again

mogs0 · 12/10/2010 16:52

Deadly- I like the Mr men t-shirts/tops! Luckily (as I'm on a spending ban Grin) they're all too small for my ds!

I've just bought a couple of things out of my PP balance which I'm not supposed to be touching - I really must stop looking at other people's things for sale!

Dumbledoresgirl · 12/10/2010 17:01

Can anyone quickly tell me what is the situation if a buyer contacts you and asks you for your BIN price? I am selling everything in auctions and have never listed a BIN price before. I don't mind selling it BIN but I don't know if I am allowed to under ebay rules if the thing is listed as an auction.

Anyway, I have no idea what BIN price to set so I will probably not do it, but is it allowed? The auctions in question have no bids at the moment.

DeadlyNightShadeofViolet · 12/10/2010 17:33

It is allowed as long as there are no bids already. I never do it as I dont know what price to ask, and I like the thrill of the last few minutes.

mogs0 · 12/10/2010 19:15

Deadly is correct. I had a couple of buyers ask for a BIN last week and offered a price which I accepted as it was around the price that I was hoping to get. Sometimes people are way off and then it's better to let the auction run.

Can you ask them what price they were thinking of?

Dumbledoresgirl · 12/10/2010 22:44

Thanks both of you. I have asked them what price they would be willing to pay but I don't think that is what they wanted me to say as they haven't got back to me!

DebsCee · 13/10/2010 14:24

Managed to get lots of new & used jewellery listed last night and there are a few more children's things/toys to go live tonight. All items are here

Tillyscoutsmum · 14/10/2010 09:59

I am an ebay selling virgin. I've just listed my first items and I am so excited [need to get a life emoticon] How long is it before I stop checking my items every 10 minutes ??!

Here's my listings

I need to get some more stuff on as well....

mrstimlovejoy · 14/10/2010 11:17

i've made just under £200 in the last week.i've still got listings on there and am about to venture up into the loft to search through dd's old clothes.

mogs0 · 14/10/2010 19:04

Tilly - you never stop checking! I find the last 24hrs are the worst, i'm on there ALL the time!!

Mrs - wow! Well done! What've you been selling? I sold 2 more things yesterday that went for a bit more than i'd expected so i'm really pleased with that. I have a few bids on my other stuff but i really need to get more listed.

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 14/10/2010 19:29

Agree with mogs. You never stop checking! Grin It is addictive!

Tillyscoutsmum · 14/10/2010 19:33

Grin Gawd help me. I've still got at least 6 days on them. I can already feel the addiction starting. I'm looking around the lounge and thinking "Hmmm, not sure we need that 'x', maybe I'll ebay it..." Smile

mrstimlovejoy · 14/10/2010 20:01

mogs0
mine and dd's old clothes that have been in the loft and 2 event tickets for a show i'm unable to go to
put some more items on this afternoon so fingers crossed they'll sell
i always think its a real chore listing them, packaging them up,posting etc but worth it if you make a nice amount
have someone at the mo who i think may be pulling a fast one saying not received item only posted on monday Hmmasking for a refund.looked at their feedback and its terrible as a buyer and seller.told them to take it up with ebay.
