DirtyMartini - I sold a MaxiCosi car seat footmuff last year for £25 Shock! There were loads listed and most were selling for around that price - they're obviously still popular Smile.

Yes, have seen the Playmobil thread which has encouraged me to spend far too much on far too many new sets - oops Grin.

Tortoise - do you want to list some of mine for me?! Grin I'm still getting round to listing today's item no1 Hmm. I'm going away at the end of next week so I want to have a few big items listed by tonight so that there's time for them to be paid for and posted out before I go then I can buy lots of things while I'm away completely defeating the point of ebaying all this stuff.

ElizabethWakefield - I've been looking out for you... You were bidding on my Playmobil Circus last week. I had to remove it because ds saw it and was on the verge of a breakdown because I was ebaying it so I am really sorry. I'd bought it for him for Christmas then, after subtle questioning, I decided that he wouldn't want it so bought something else - obviously my questions were too subtle! Anyway, I just wanted to apologise for any inconvenience caused Smile.

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 16/11/2010 13:21

mogs Once i set to it i got them done pretty quickly! Not sure when to list more! Don't too many to send at one (if they sell!)

Dumbledoresgirl · 16/11/2010 14:13

Wow DirtyMartini, do let us know what it goes for in the end. It is exciting, isn't it?

Well, I am back on the ebay treadmill. Have relisted a load of stuff, reducing my prices a bit, and also listed some new stuff. Only second hand kids clothes, toys and books as I don't have anything better to sell, but it might make me a penny or two (literally, probably! Grin)

DG's stuff

OMG! I have just found the biggest stash of 'to ebay' stuff. I have a huge cupboard that has been jammed shut for ages because I knew that if I opened the doors everything would come tumbling out - I did and it did!

I'll have to keep ds out of the room because there are things which he gave me to get rid of months ago and if he sees them again he'll want to keep them Grin.

Well, I can see what I'm going to be doing every evening for the next month!!

Oh and I found the 3rd space rocket for Tracy Island so can list that as complete now! Also, found a couple of bits for the ELC garage which I've been looking for so that's up next!

BuffDayKnickers0nMyHead · 16/11/2010 17:12

ElizabethWakefield, I have just shown my friend your listings.

She has asked to me ask you if you could sell her the brownies uniform please?

Her daughter has just started brownies and was told that she would not need the uniform until after christmas, now she needs it next week!!!

If so, could you let me know a price incl postage for the 30' trousers, s/sleeved top and the zipped jacket please.

She is desperate now!

BuffDayKnickers0nMyHead · 16/11/2010 17:13

Also, if anyone has any cheap bundles of boys 12months up or girls 2y up Id be interested Wink

bumpybecky · 16/11/2010 17:36

hello all :)

I had 20 listings that ended on Sunday, 17 sold :) still waiting for one to be paid for but the others are all posted.

I'm up to £188 before eBay fees!

DirtyMartini · 16/11/2010 19:38

Mogs0, £25! Wow. I'm sure that's really close to the usual price of a new one on Amazon! I would love to make that, but won't get my hopes up just yet. Footmuff now has 39 watchers Shock

I did a BIN price by request for two pairs of Gap 4year corduroy dungarees. For some reason these are very popular in this size; I used to buy them for ds and there was always loads of competition. Buyer seemed nice and was happy to pay the £20 I asked for so I've posted them today. One pair was a lovely bright red and there was a small chance I might have got more than a tenner for them but I dunno, there is something quite nice about just getting the money quickly from an enthusiastic buyer with good feedback :)

Really want to click on people's auction links from today but am on my phone, so will have a look later.

DirtyMartini · 16/11/2010 19:41

Good result bumpybecky :)

Buffday: what kind of boys' things would make up a good bundle for you? I might have some good stuff in mil's attic, but will need to check to be sure :)

mogs0 · 16/11/2010 19:48

DirtyMartini - It came with the car-seat when I bought it. I couldn't really sell the car seat as a whole so I split it all up - cosytoes, covers, headhugger etc and iirc I got almost as much as the seat had cost me new then had to bin the actual seat Sad.

Good price for the dungarees. I agree, I much prefer to sell things early with a BIN. I think there are a couple of pairs of denim Gap dungarees in one of the bags I found earlier. Ds had them when he was about 2 or 3 but they were a huge pain when he needed to go to the loo so are hardly worn...I'm off to dig them out!

BuffDayKnickers0nMyHead · 16/11/2010 19:49

Oh I dunno...long sleeved tops/joggers/jeans/jumpers or cardis. As you can tell I'm not too fussy and not too fussed if they are not perfect Grin

mogs0 · 16/11/2010 20:36

[[http://shop.ebay.co.uk/mogs0/m.html Here] are a couple more items.

mogs0 · 16/11/2010 20:37

Here

mygirllollipop · 16/11/2010 21:02

Well I may reach this target!
Sold 8 more items tonight and am now up to £268.85
Got 10 more items over the next two days so we'll see. I'm quite hopeful now!
I find though that I'd been listing a few every night and it was kinda exciting at the end, watching the bids come in etc, and I felt a bit lost without that the past couple of days when I had nothing ending. After this lot I'll re-list what doesn't sell and there'll be another gap in which I'll feel lost.
Definitely addictive but nothing left to sell in the house!

mogs0 · 16/11/2010 21:37

Mygirl - well done!! I have loads if you want to list some of mine Grin.

I only had one item end tonight but it had a bid so all good! 5 items ending tomorrow which have a good amount of bids so far...

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 16/11/2010 22:09

mogs Stop trying to get people to do you listing for you! WinkGrin

mogs0 · 16/11/2010 23:23

but there's just so much!!! Grin Grin Thought my begging might go un-noticed!!

mygirllollipop · 17/11/2010 10:27

Sometimes I resent listing, but sometimes I do enjoy it but shhhhh.
The stuff ending tonight is already up to £56 and if a couple with watchers only get one bid that's another £25. Everything crossed for tonight.

bumpybecky · 17/11/2010 10:30

well done mygirl :) that's seriously impressive :)

iisbigmomma · 17/11/2010 13:09

well folks my first lot of listings ended last night..........................everything sold Shock

I had a Columbia boys 12 month snowsuit sold for £29.50 before postage. Crazy!!! You can buy them new online for £30. ShockShock
Not that i'm complaining mind thats me £209 closer to the target.

Listed another pile last night so fingers crossed.

mogs0 · 17/11/2010 13:23

That's brilliant!! It is crazy how much people will pay for things (including myself sometimes [blsuh].

I only listed 3 items last night and plan to add a couple more tonight.

I'm wondering if it's be reasonable to ask for payment within 2 days of auction ending so that I can post everything out before I go away. If that'd be ok then I can list a couple more over the weekend on a 3 or 5 day listing and still have time to post them.

ShittyBangBang · 17/11/2010 15:04

Tis Knicks in disguise from rl people (shhhh)

I've listed two pair of curtains today and should really get some more stuff on but its kinda hard not having a camera (stolen from burgalry) Angry
