OP posts:
GeorgeWBush · 06/11/2010 10:39

Have put some more on today here.

Have made £70 this week so not doing to bad, it's a bit addictive though!

Dumbledoresgirl · 06/11/2010 13:14

I did hopelessly this week - about £10 in total. I am now up to £180 but have to pay ebay fees out of that.

Another free listing weekend eh? I am going to list some of the clothes I never wear. Can anyone give me an idea of when is the best time to have my items ending - tonight? tomorrow night?

JustKeepSparkling · 06/11/2010 15:03

I am gathering a pile of stuff to list, and have to say thanks for the timing tip :)

Got to use Monday for more sorting, then Tues/Wed aim to list if i can.

mygirllollipop · 06/11/2010 15:46

Dumbledoresgirl - I'm not having mine end weekend evenings anymore due to Stictly and X Factor. I'm ending mine weekday evenings instead, after the soaps have finished.
Got loads scheduled so will activate them during an ad break this evening.

mogs0 · 06/11/2010 15:51

I was thinking of 10 day listings starting tonight and tomorrow night or maybe a couple of 5 day listings tonight.

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 06/11/2010 19:11

If i can find the energy i will list some tonight on 5 day listing then maybe some more tomorrow. Trying to distract myself from other probs!

Grufflemummy · 06/11/2010 20:43

tortoise- I saw your thread the other day- sending you strength and non-mny hugs.

My auctions are not going fabulously well at present... have some here to end tomorrow night, and scrabbling around to find things to list for free, but failing miserably (house of plague here today)

Maybe time to list my breast pump and baby carrier

mogs0 · 06/11/2010 21:07

I seem to have been gathering bits and pieces all day to ebay and when I finally put my camera card in the computer there were only 3 things photographed Hmm! One of those things can go on next week as will start for free at 99p so here are the other 2 things!

Ebay is running quite slow for me tonight so I'm off to watch tv for a bit then will have an hour or 2 doing it later when things might be back to normal speed!

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 06/11/2010 21:43

My new listings
Does any one know if i can re-list items for free too?

Thanks Gruffle. Smile

blametheparents · 06/11/2010 22:02

Hiya! Cna I join?
Sold 3 Boden girls's tops last week for a total of £27.00.
Currently have a Mamas and Papas wardrobe for sale which is at £45.00!
Have some other stuff photographed, mostly soe old lothes of my DD (Monsoon dress, Gap dress, Boden sweatshirt - so will hopefully go well)
Def up for £300 by XMas for kids' Xmas presents, esp as DH is out of work at the mo Sad

Dumbledoresgirl · 06/11/2010 22:40

Tortoise, you sure can! I just have Wink

Hugs too from me. {{}}

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 06/11/2010 22:43

Thanks Dumbledore Smile
Have re-listed a couple of bits.

I have a boys santa suit and a girls santa dress + hat to list but maybe should wait a couple more weeks as completed listings for the boys one don't show them selling well so far.

bumpybecky · 07/11/2010 11:22

remember my car seat that was collection only but sold to someone miles away?

we he finally collected it on Friday. Turns out he was a delivery driver. He asked to collect as early as possible so I was out of bed at 6.15am Shock but he didn't show, eventually turned up at 2.30pm after many texts. Anyway glad it all worked out :)

I'm listing more later, just need to get some pics taken first :)

I'm now at £110ish before FVF :)

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 07/11/2010 15:43

bumpy Glad they finally collected. Smile

I have 3 items with one bid already. Grin

roosterroo · 07/11/2010 17:14

Here are some more,

what I need is inspiration for what to buy my 11 year old DS for Christmas, have to wait for his birthday later this month Grin

classydiva · 07/11/2010 19:28

Wow your postage is far too low on your games! Couldnt you list other courier, going to cost around 4.50 to send, might have made more selling them individually, did you check out advanced search and completed listings, you could have put them on a BIN per game for 50p under the cheapest listed.

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 07/11/2010 20:15

2nd class for 6 Wii games is £2.84 2nd class so no where near £4.50 Smile. Sorry had to check as i didn't think it would be much more than £2. Smile

I decided not to list anymore tonight. If i get any time in the week i will add a few more bits. Then hoping for another free listing in a couple of weeks so i can sort DD2's my little pony stuff! There is about 20+ ponies i think plus other bits.

classydiva · 07/11/2010 21:32

Thats a lot cheaper than I thought, I never send second class, the buyer pays the postage so don't see any reason too. You might get quite a bit for those then you are going to have to send recorded.

blametheparents · 07/11/2010 21:35

Just listed these items on free listing.
Let's hope they all sell Smile

classydiva · 07/11/2010 21:50

Love the girls dresses but why no measurements, always makes me press the back button when people list clothing of any kind and never put the measurements on.

blametheparents · 07/11/2010 22:21

I always just put the age/size of the items.
Have never put the actual measurements.
Hadn't seen it as a problem cos stuff has generally sold.
Will consider doing it in future, if I can find a tape measurer!

freerangeeggs · 07/11/2010 22:26

I'll join in, if that's OK :)

I'm brand new to ebay selling but I'm ADDICTED. I've made £80 this week selling my old clothes.

I might not make £300 but aim for the moon and all that.

mogs0 · 07/11/2010 22:30

I've just added a couple more here. I have watchers on the newly added items already!

I've got a couple of White Co bits left to list tonight then I think that'll be it for this weekend. I have been pretty crap at getting things listed but I must make better use of the scheduled (that spelling looks so wrong Confused) listing trick and get some of the higher value items ready for the next free listing weekend - I have a sneaky suspicion there'll be another one next weekend.

bumpybecky · 07/11/2010 23:55

hurrah! for the first time ever I actually got to the bottom of my eBay laundry basket - I've listed the lot today :) well I think I have anyway, bet I find some more tomorrow

they're here and I've got one bid already :)

bumpybecky · 08/11/2010 00:04

freerangeeggs welcome to the thread :) have you got thing listed at the moment? if you add a link we can be be very nosey!

mogs I think it's more likely to be in 2weeks time, that seems to be the pattern at the moment.

fingers crossed everyone :)
