mygirllollipop · 02/11/2010 20:36

Sales tonight are 123.50 -woohoo!

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 02/11/2010 21:31

Lulabel Faulty items do sell well. I got £20 for a broken DS lite! Grin

No listing for me tonight. DD2 says she still feels sick (ploy to sleep in my bed me thinks!!) so will aim to list tomorrow. Photos are all taken which is a good start!

FrameyMcFrame · 02/11/2010 21:41

Oh dear, as I was packaging one of the dresses i sold I noticed there was a small hole at the hem.
Don't know what to do now, I haven't sent the dress yet. (it only sold for 99p but I still don't want to send an item with a hole in it)

Shall I contact the buyer and offer a refund?

OhCobblers · 02/11/2010 21:54

am gutted.

had an amazing bundle of girls clothing (over 30 items) inc Gap, Polarn o Pyret, etc, and i listed the bundle as 6-12m as i didn't have enough room.

have only just realised that i needed to list it as 6-12months for it it come up if doing a search - aarrghh - so disappointing when i've seen other bundles go for double what i got, that didn't inc the kind of labels that i did.

a hard lesson ............ Sad

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 02/11/2010 21:55

Can it be stitched Framey? You probably should contact the buyer to see if they still want it. I must be a bad seller because i would probably cross my fingers that they didn't notice. Blush

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 02/11/2010 21:57

Really cobblers? I would expect it still to come up in search with 6-12 in title or in the detailed selling info bit. Or is it because there was no space between the 12 and the m?

OhCobblers · 02/11/2010 22:04

no space between the 12 and the m Sad
stupid me ........

i'll just have to remember about the stuff that i've sold that i expected to get 99p for and ended up with a lot more!!!

have still got a lot more baby clothing to seel, so i'll make sure i get it right next time. just a shame when this was a really gorgeous and stylish bundle and amazing quality. someone got a real bargain!

OhCobblers · 02/11/2010 22:04

sell

FrameyMcFrame · 02/11/2010 22:28

Can't stitch it Tortoise, it's silk and it's obviously been snagged on something and made a little hole.
I just don't ant to get bad feedback.

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 02/11/2010 22:54

Contact the buyer and see what they say. Hopefully they will be understanding. Smile At least you noticed before sending.

HannahHack · 03/11/2010 10:33

I have made £64 on Ebay an £38 on Amazon the past week. I'm well chuffed.

One more item to go tonight, which I am hoping will go for good money as it is very beautiful
Here cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260682469421&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

I am considering putting up my not-on-sale-in-the-uk Durex lubes as the condoms went for lots!

DebsCee · 03/11/2010 11:13

Made £658 (less fees) in October :)

More things listed here

Lulabel27 · 03/11/2010 18:04

Wow DebsCee you have so much on there how do you find the time!? Well done on making £658 that's great!
Just listed more bits and pieces :)

DinosaursHateUnderpants · 03/11/2010 18:15

I try to treat it as my part time job. I usually list everything during 3 week days (whilst DS1 & DS2 are at school/pre-scool) on scheduled listings and then in the evening prior to to their go live time I whizz through them all and edit them to 'list immediately', which means I can do about 60 listings in less than 20 minutes :)

FrameyMcFrame · 03/11/2010 18:50

Debs, good luck with your fund it's for a great cause!
I'm watching the bra as it's my size and I love the colour :)

mogs0 · 03/11/2010 22:15

here are my latest listings.

I am so pleased to have heard about the scheduling trick - is fab!!

I'm not expecting high prices for any of these things but it all helps! I have to make a really big effort over the weekend otherwise I can see me running out of time before Christmas and I can't bear the thought of all the clutter hanging around for another year!

SNOWBall4girlz · 03/11/2010 22:30

here are mine

spent a good two hours revising and relisting stuff tonight sold another £30 worth tonight :)
good luck every body

mogs0 · 03/11/2010 22:40

Wow, snow! That's a lot of listings in one night. I felt like I'd done loads but only have 8 Blush!!

mygirllollipop · 03/11/2010 22:42

Well only 4 items sold the past two nights but upto £166.67 now.
Two are paid for, the other didn't ask before bidding and wants it sent to her abroad so sent new invoice, but happy to send abroad. The other is collection (bike).
Relisted most of what didn't sell from the free listing weekend at 99p to avoid insertion fee. Will keep the others there til another free weekend.
Got more to upload but need time. Might do it tomorrow and use the scheduling trick - loving it, never heard of it before.
Really want rid of my crap for moving house and the money never comes in wrong.
Only problem might be getting to the PO as my car has stopped working.

SNOWBall4girlz · 04/11/2010 02:14

I keep the same format just change the info and sometimes just get them on and go back and edit them iykwim.

I do use turbo lister but the ebay relister is not too bad at the mo.

I have bags of stuff that the grls have outgrown my house looks like a jumble sale :)

SNOWBall4girlz · 04/11/2010 22:29

Added a few more but not a lot of interest not even in a barney or a wiggles guitar ?....have I missed the boat with them?

barbie jeans and some DS bits put on to try and widen my audience
only 51 days to xmas lol
my stuff

GruesomeShellChillingTortoise · 04/11/2010 22:34

SNOW, i sold a wiggles guitar about a year or two ago which IIRC sold quite well.
I am going to be very honest and say that some of your start prices are quite high and would put me off. (Sorry)

mygirllollipop · 05/11/2010 08:50

Got an email for free listing again this weekend. Gonna pop my more expensive stuff on.

Can you relist for free on these weekends too (not from TL, from the ebay site)?

mogs0 · 05/11/2010 13:39

Thanks for that! I've just re-listed all my other stuff but I have plenty of other things that I wanted to start above 99p. Also, I have no plans at all this weekend so should be able to list lots of things.

SNOWBall4girlz · 06/11/2010 01:14

Thanks tortoise I know but most of them I offer free postage I really dont want them going for 99 p........

4.99 + free postage = 50 p fvf then paypal = 30 - 60 p plus actual post and packing does not leave a lot plus people dont feel they are getting ripped by high p +p charges ?

swings and roundasbouts stated alot at 99p too :)

Not doin too bad but is slow :)
