they said I grabbed her arm allegedly

Did you?
Or did you shout at her and frighten her?
Or shove her a bit?

You cant afford NOT to get a solicitor. Find one and get the right motions in place. the solicitor will help with access both to children and house.

This.

Strictly1 · 20/06/2024 22:45

You won’t get any help here OP. ALL women are innocent here.
I’d get legal advice and make sure you go with the proper channels and have a suitable witness if you need to see her.
My brother’s ex used to make up some cracking lies about him. He took his own life in the end as he couldn’t see a way out. She always wanted more money - it was like pay per visit for his child. She then got his life insurance and his family got a life sentence.
But no - ALL women are innocent and ALL men evil on MN.

Whereas in the real world, women and men can be abusive, selfish and victims.

I feel for you with what your brother done but I can’t totally understand why he would do that cause I feel it’s the only way sometimes

I didn’t move out I wasn’t allowed to see her

I can see why she locked you out - she doesn't feel safe around you.

You cannot sell the house as she is joint owner, so you need her permission or a court order enforcing the sale.

You need to speak to a solicitor regarding your divorce including finances and the children. Until then stay away from the marital home.

Solicitor is the only sensible way to go right now unless she agrees to mediation.

TheShellBeach · 20/06/2024 22:51

But there is a restraining order against you. You shouldn't have tried to enter the house under those circumstances.

Do you think your wife feels unsafe around you?

gardenmusic · 20/06/2024 23:00

'ain't' ' wanna' 'other lads'
It's past your bedtime.

RawBloomers · 20/06/2024 23:01

Joke14 · 20/06/2024 22:50

I didn’t move out I wasn’t allowed to see her

So you’d split up but you were both living there when she accused you of assault? And the police arrested you and released you with conditions saying you couldn’t speak to her (contact her?), but not that you couldn’t live at the house?

Joke14 · 20/06/2024 23:05

No we was together that Tuesday night just normal night tell I seen her texting a man . Yes that was the conditions I never went to the house though

OP posts:
TheShellBeach · 20/06/2024 23:08

If you "never went to the house" how did you find out that the locks had been changed?

KarateSchnitzel · 20/06/2024 23:09

What would you actually want out of this situation? You say your wife has changed them locks. Maybe you respect her wishes, go stay somewhere else so she can live at home for the time being keeping things as normal as possible for the children and you go down the normal route, that everyone else has to do and seek legal advice about splitting up the marital assets.

Or, were you hoping you could just kick her and the kids out?

RMNofTikTok · 20/06/2024 23:09

100 percent didn’t touch wouldn’t lay a finger on her or any girl. We was shouting at each other

Shouting at someone IS common assault

RMNofTikTok · 20/06/2024 23:10

Joke14 · 20/06/2024 22:37

i Am totally against domestic abuse the way some women are treated is disgraceful and the Sarah Everard incident was the worst I ever seen, but what about the mental abuse of me not seeing my kids because they made up lies

It's ok because most abusers get awarded more contact time not less in family court anyway

You're going to have to go through the legal channels, OP. But you are entitled to 'half" of the house from a financial pov.

TheShellBeach · 20/06/2024 23:12

Are you still paying the mortgage?
