Seeing my kids just every other weekend

272 replies

Happylittlebluebird · 27/04/2021 17:35

I have decided to drop protracted court preceedings as it is getting us nowhere.

Any other mums out there that just see their kids every other weekend? My boys are 11 and 13.

I am heartbroken but it's the price you pay for leaving an abusive narcissist.

Please be kind as obviously I'm feeling devastated right now as it is.

Nonsense.

What posters throughout all your threads have picked up is your disinterest in your DC. Every thread is full of dramatic self-obsessed statements about you and how you feel.

The children are barely mentioned. How the feel. The impact on them. Hardly acknowledged.

Nobody has to have experienced your personal situation to be able to comment.

Happylittlebluebird · 28/04/2021 18:44

@EarringsandLipstick They do actually. To know how the courts are.

Can anybody on here say they have genuinely been in a similar situation?

Because there are a few on here.

Look at their responses.

I am torn about reporting this thread.

I don't want it deleted, as OP will be back shortly with another username & an attempt to garner more attention with a selective presentation of facts.

However, our replies here are feeding her desire for attention & not really helping anyone.

Maybe the thread could be closed but left to stand?

Happylittlebluebird · 28/04/2021 18:47

@EarringsandLipstick Definitely report it Smile

OP posts:
UhtredRagnarson · 28/04/2021 18:48

Oh what a surprise. OP wants the thread deleted. No one saw that coming.

FeatheredHope · 28/04/2021 18:48

How did you prove the abuse? Was it physical?

As I said, it’s none of your business. I have no desire to unpick my abusive marriage and custody agreements on a public forum. This thread isn’t about me. It’s about you. And getting arsey at other posters and trying to deflect by criticising their points of view does nothing to help your case. But you know that, don’t you?

EarringsandLipstick · 28/04/2021 18:49

@UhtredRagnarson

Oh what a surprise. OP wants the thread deleted. No one saw that coming.
Exactly.

She'll keep winding everyone up, escalating the bullshit, until the thread gets pulled & she can start again afresh.

Happylittlebluebird · 28/04/2021 18:50

@UhtredRagnarson Where did I say that? Report it on what grounds exactly?

OP posts:
FeatheredHope · 28/04/2021 18:50

Oh typical. OP wants the thread zapped again.
See you another day with another name with the same old shit.

UhtredRagnarson · 28/04/2021 18:51

Report it on what grounds exactly?

You tell me. You told @EarringsandLipstick to report it.

Happylittlebluebird · 28/04/2021 18:51

@FeatheredHope on the contrary!

OP posts:
Happylittlebluebird · 28/04/2021 18:52

@UhtredRagnarson No. You tell me!

OP posts:
UhtredRagnarson · 28/04/2021 18:56
@UhtredRagnarson No. You tell me!
I didn’t say it should be reported. Confused you did.

BingBongToTheMoon · 28/04/2021 18:57

I reported it earlier.
It’s serving no purpose now. @Happylittlebluebird is just being obtuse and argumentative now & I’m not even sure this is all real.

Happylittlebluebird · 28/04/2021 18:57

@UhtredRagnarson It was @EarringsandLipstick

OP posts:
Happylittlebluebird · 28/04/2021 18:58

@BingBongToTheMoon Oh did they not delete it? Why is that then?

OP posts:
EarringsandLipstick · 28/04/2021 18:59

OP you're making progressively less sense.

I said I was considering reporting it, but then it'll be deleted, allowing you to continue to post this rubbish on a fresh thread.

You encouraged me to report it. But you won't say why, you want Uhtred to tell you why for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've considered that you are ill on previous threads, based on what you've said. But you are wily enough in your replies. I'm not sure if there's any basis in fact at all, or are these threads here just to annoy & upset posters & see how many you can reel in?

Is there any hope for some honesty from you?

UhtredRagnarson · 28/04/2021 18:59
**@UhtredRagnarson* It was @EarringsandLipstick*
And then you said “definitely report it”.

Why did you want earrings to report it?

BingBongToTheMoon · 28/04/2021 19:00
@BingBongToTheMoon Oh did they not delete it? Why is that then?
No clue. I don’t work for Mumsnet.

SeaTurtles92 · 28/04/2021 19:00

Sometimes you have to let go of the those you love, even if for a little while, hoping that one day they will see the truth and come back to you.

Nope, I'd fight tooth and nail for my child. I'd never give up and walk away from my child.

NEVER.

Enjoy your new family though I suppose 🤷🏻‍♀️.

EarringsandLipstick · 28/04/2021 19:00

Definitely report it

Your own words @Happylittlebluebird

Happylittlebluebird · 28/04/2021 19:01

@UhtredRagnarson To see if MN would delete it? And their reason for doing so.

OP posts:
Checkingout811 · 28/04/2021 19:02

As I stated before, I live with my husband so obviously my DC see him.
My sisters ex husband was abusive, she fought for her children, he fought for contact and he was given supervised contact EOW and one week night because he was abusive. He stopped attending after 3 weeks and this was 6 years ago. I don’t believe a thing you say.

Checkingout811 · 28/04/2021 19:04

@Happylittlebluebird yes you’re quite right OP that on a parenting forum there are very few parents willing to abandon their children. Well observed. Who has been looking after your 11 month old all day while you have been posting pretty much immediate replies? Is she with her father too?

Happylittlebluebird · 28/04/2021 19:05

@Checkingout811 Yes I can understsnd why the truth would make you all feel uncomfortable. Physically abusive I'm assuming? Anyway let's leave it there xx
