There are quite a lot of football fans on MN, and also loads of football-haters. If we hide here in Dadsnet, none of the detractors will find us. But if they do, they are welcome to come here and moan.

You don?t have to be male to post here, of course. (No-one would say women can?t post in the Dadsnet section, just like no woman would EVER say men aren?t welcome on Mumsnet?)

Footy fans please sign in with

I'm rather surprised GB haven't done well in the diving.
One would have thought Ashley Young would nail it.

The IOC has claimed they'll catch the Olympic drug cheats.
Actually, I'm not so sure, they're pretty fucking fast.

What's 120mm in diameter, silver and covered in dust?
The Australian National Anthem CD

These Olympics have quite inspired me.
No longer will I lay on the sofa watching Darts and Football.
Now I'm going to watch other sports as well.

Yes, for goodness sake start a new thread for the next season.
The sooner the better.
I'm sick to death of plonkers posting so called jokes.

OK, I'll do a new thread for the new season.

Quite looking forward to the new season. I'm hoping that fantastic Gooner Mo Farah will be introduced at half time at the Emirates Stadium, next Saturday.
