There are quite a lot of football fans on MN, and also loads of football-haters. If we hide here in Dadsnet, none of the detractors will find us. But if they do, they are welcome to come here and moan.

I've a feeling he will stick with Young and Milner to begin with. But Carroll and Rooney in a 4-4-2.

I have not kept track of it too well as have been working so have missed a lot of the pundit talk. Milner didn't look too good last night.

DD: Daddy. I have no interest in football. It has no part in my life.
Me: Really? But suppose Russia win? (where we collect £24 each)
DD: Well in that case I'd be really interested in football.

Joe Hart is my favourite England player. John Terry my least, obviously. But there's no denying Terry's played well this tournament.

I saw Cashley Cole interviewed the other day. Normally despise him but he was really nice. Surprising.
