i love the English version. The first episode is always a bit manic so will reserve judgement. It’s interesting though the names of two traitors have already been brought up!

@Fuckish that would be more fun. The , "So are you hearing any names", conversations are getting very monotonous.

They are a bit. I want to hear more ‘Never trust a Corkonian’ or ‘I heard there’s a midlands alliance forming — will we start a Leinster one?’

CheeseDanish · 08/09/2025 10:30

I wish Siobhán McSweeney would lean into her Sister Michael persona a bit more and tell them all to cop themselves on periodically. What would Sister Michael say when they voted out yet another Faithful?

I imagine her having one-on-ones and saying 'You will go far in life, Eamon, but you will not be well liked.'

And there are so many moments when 'If anyone is feeling anxious or worried... or even if you just want to chat, please, please, do not come crying to me' would come in useful.

I'm half an hour behind here... OMG 😲 what on earth is Eamon doing??

I wish he’d stop saying ‘Can I pull you in?’ When what he means is ‘Can I have a conversation with you?’ It’s like the Garda Cliché playbook. Any minute he’s going to ask to breathalyse someone or say they’re drunk in charge of a vehicle.

Fuckish · 08/09/2025 22:24

Please god can Eamon get banished???

Yay .. bye bye!! He did nothing for the reputation of the guards!! anyone watching uncloaked he is still going after Paudie, saying how useless he was and how paudie is the worst player in the history of the game! Reckons he should get the money just for putting up with him! He’s horrible

My new favourite traitor is Oyen!

Livelaughlurgy · 08/09/2025 23:12

OH MY GOD. I saw Carl Mullen reacting to it on insta and assumed he was doing an over the top performance. It was unreal. I have to say Eamonn didn't help himself on uncloaked. I thought in hindsight he'd say Paudie outplayed him. I thought Paudie suggesting recruiting Andrew because Nick and he were closer and it wasn't fair on Katlyn was hilarious.

Yes. She got it bang on among all.that choas at the round table, didn't she.

The three traitors really are terrible aren't they!! No subtly at all.

ComeAsYouAreAsAFriend · 09/09/2025 08:43

So glad Eamon is gone he was stressing me out with his behaviour. The traitors are terrible they are just more into double crossing each other rather than working together to get more faithful's out. I know they have to turn on each other eventually but they have done it too soon and all three have exposed themselves as potential traitors. I think Katelyn and Eamonn underestimated Paudie.

@Magnalux haven't seen uncloaked yet but what a plonker we have all it seen it now no need to keep up the pretense you were outmaneuvered Eamonn

i didn’t see it either, but in any of the UK or other overseas versions of Uncloaked, I don’t think I’ve ever seen even the ‘nastiest’ traitor be anything other than nice and enthusiastic about the other contestants after they’d been banished. I mean, even if it’s insincere, they’ve clearly decided (correctly!) that it’s better to come across as gracious in defeat. Was Eamon still quite unpleasant about Paudie afterwards?

I like Paudie, even though he’s screwed up a couple of times by forgetting that conversations were in the dungeons rather than the castle — but Eamon got himself banished, really, by coming across as aggressive and unpleasant. Though the estate agent guy whose name escapes me was probably the key figure in his downfall. He never got flustered by Eamon’s aggression, and was a very clear, forthright speaker. People believed him.

Why did Paudie not vote for Eamon, though?

TartanCulshie · 09/09/2025 12:50

Delighted Eamon gone😎. What a smug fecker he is. And on unckoaked he has no class. Still going after Paudie. And still 'sure' he played a better game. 🙄

Oyin is fab. Will folk remember what she said? Or will it get washed away with all the hype of the round table.

Yes, I wonder! Clever Oyin. Hopefully she sticks to her theory. If she does, and is vocal about it, it seems obvious that both Paudie and Katelyn are destined for early banishments, which might leave Estate Agent Man (John?) in a commanding position.

Or will his having been so instrumental in finding Eamon make him an obvious candidate for recruitment, and hence an obvious ‘new’ traitor?

Also, does Andrew secretly know perfectly well his dad is a traitor?

honeyrider · 09/09/2025 13:29

I think Andrew strongly suspects his Dad is a traitor. Oyin is a gamer so that probably helps her read people and strategies. Last night's show was great.

TartanCulshie · 09/09/2025 13:34

I'd say Andrew has his suspicions alright. But for the moment it doesn't help for him to get Paudie out. Better to have that up his sleeve.

I wonder if folk will suspect Nick (presuming he swaps jerseys. Or swaps to cloak I suppose). And who wouldn't want to vote an estate agent out 😎

MsFelicityLemon · 09/09/2025 14:05

The round of "ooohs" after Oyin made her very astute observation was funny. I think people will recall, of not Oyin herself will!!

I think Paudie didn't vote for Eamonn, as he seems to favour Traitor Loyalty. (Least he did.) He's a bad Traitor because he's pure choas and can't stratergise, so messes up on things. Good at deflection and persuasion though!!

Eamonn was bad because he was arrogant and had no subtly. He actually cleared people off to hold a traitor meeting in front of everyone!!

Katelynn is just trying to overcompensate and just ends up trying to control the narrative unsuccessfully

Well that's my armchair psychologist summary of them all 😂

But didn’t Paudie vote for Katelyn? So no ‘Traitor loyalty’? I thought it was a weird decision. Surely he must have suspected, after all that argy-bargy, that Eamon would vote for him, so he should hit back? At one point it looked as if Paudie not voting for Eamon was going to mean he was banished himself!

(Do they have traitor cloaks in a variety of sizes? Estate Agent Man must be a foot taller than Eamon…)

CorporaINobbyNobbs · 09/09/2025 14:53

I don’t know if Paudie is really forgetting where he had conversations or is he just pretending so he can stitch up the other traitors? It worked with Eamon.

Eamon was so unpleasant on Uncloaked.

Well, if he is pretending, he deserves an Oscar. It’s also a very high-risk strategy. He nearly got himself banished last night, and I think he probably has (a) Eamon’s aggressiveness and (b) Nick (I finally looked up his name)’s very clear, direct takedown of Eamon to thank for it.

A Garda friend said people keep sending him Eamon memes.

Seriously, I bet there’s a Garda recruitment person somewhere saying ‘Feck it, anyway.’

That's what I mean by least he did. He just took a chance Katelynn would be voted off. He should have gone for Eamonn!!!

By Traitor loyalty i just mean working as a team, and tactucally murdering and orchestrating banishments and not instantly backstabbing each other!! Only time a traitor needs to turn on each other is when someone is suspected or it's nearing the end

FlipFlopShopInHawaii · 09/09/2025 15:53

Paudie said something odd when voting for Katelyn, I had to rewind it to re-listen but I still don't understand...
He said "I voted for Kate because I don't think there's enough to vote for Eamon, and in my opinion I would have gone for Eamon tonight"

What on earth was that about??? Was Paudie giving a clue as to who the 3rd traitor was in case he got banished?

I think people genuinely like Paudie and don't want him to be a traitor. Now the question is... will Katelyn or Paudie go tonight?

Don't know why they chose to recruit Nick, should have picked a woman.

MsFelicityLemon · 09/09/2025 16:02

Who knows what he meant. There's a lot of taking in riddles. Made me laugh when Wilkin was explaining why he was voting for a woman who's name i haven't managed to member. He was going on about numbers and her response was hilarious (and despite that I can't recall exactly what she said)
