@Carriemac do you live in a castle?😊

JaneJeffer · 08/01/2023 14:05

How the heck did you take that photo @Carriemac?

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 08/01/2023 14:27

I love it, Carriemac. beautiful* space! The floor also caught my eye and I wondered the same as Jane *😅

Carriemac · 08/01/2023 23:15

It's a slightly scruffy 80s barn conversion , taken from the galleried
landing

Oh @Carriemac your room is gorgeous! I'd say my entire ground floor would fit in that one room! <<envious>> The star is beautiful

Where are you all watching An Cailín Cúin? I have Apple TV, Netflix and Prime. Really don't want to get another subscription!!

I saw it in the cinema last year on first release , then on an aer Lingus flight , then on sky movies I think

Scruffy? @Carriemac it's like something from a magazine!

Just realised I missed Dermot tonight. Will have to watch on catch up.

Been cringing at the sex chat on Tommy Tiernan. Where's his hat gone? Don't like the glasses. They put years on him

LadyEloise1 · 09/01/2023 19:09

I watched Dermot last night.
Anyone else watch it.
I thought the porch thingy was awful and agree with the male owner - full view of the garden/driveway.
Otherwise it was a lovely transformation.

eggandonion · 10/01/2023 18:42

I think Dermot is repeated tomorrow, i was busy watching prince Harry on Sunday. All in all, id have been better with Dermot.

JaneJeffer · 10/01/2023 18:53

I was watching Happy Valley but fair play to Harry he's making my January a lot more cheerful.

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 10/01/2023 19:28

I must watch Dermot this Sunday. I took a break from him for a while, but I'm ready for another season of it again. I suppose nothing has changed. More big windows, out of control budgets, mud, diggers, angst, tears, swearing at Dermot, Dermot stamping his foot, glasses of fizz and happy ever after.

I'm beginning to lose track of what's real and what's parody with the talk about 'Spare'. It's all very strange. You can't see him coming back to his family after this.

JaneJeffer · 10/01/2023 19:31

That sums it up nicely Fuzzy Grin

😅it's a good formula, to be fair!

JaneJeffer · 10/01/2023 19:36

I wonder if Patrick Freyne has a recap

Carriemac · 10/01/2023 22:09

Patrick F is so funny

I love all the property programmes where people suddenly need loads of extra cash and it isn't an issue. Lots of Dermots people inherit a lovely old house, which helps. Not jealous at all.
I need a double socket replaced, and that's going to be complicated...useless at diy!

honeyrider · 11/01/2023 17:53

My older son delivered a baby this morning. He's the manager of a petrol station and the baby was born on the forecourt before the paramedics arrived, they talked him through it and the dad stood holding the towels. Mother and baby are well.

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 11/01/2023 18:01

Goodness honeyrider! Fair play to your son! I'm very glad all went well. Well done to him.

Oh my !
Congratulations to your son.
You raised a good 'un 💐

honeyrider · 11/01/2023 20:29

He said he needed a whiskey after it. 😂

He's good in a crisis, there's very little that panics him in fairness. He's always been laid back.

FuzzyCaoraDhubh · 11/01/2023 20:47

He definitely would deserve it. Make it a double 😅

halfpasteleven · 11/01/2023 21:53

A proud moment for you and your son @honeyrider
Glad mammy and baby are doing well

Carriemac · 11/01/2023 22:02

That is lovely news @honeyrider
What a start to his year!

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 12/01/2023 15:30

Wow @honeyrider that's amazing! Is he a father himself? Some people are just great when put a situation like that. My DS is wonderful but I know for certain he'd be worse than useless if that ever happened, he gets queasy when he sees a bad tackle on the football and would defintely faint at the sight of blood Grin Fair play to him,so glad the mum & baby are ok 👏
