GroceryAid School Essentials Grant 2024

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone applied for the GroceryAid School Essentials Grant this year for £150 per school age child towards school uniform?

If so, have you heard back yet?

I've been awarded the last 3 years and hate to admit, I do rely on it to help with school uniform costs so I'm worried we won't be awarded this year as they have changed their application process! Xx

I spent £75 on 2 blazers and 3 pairs of PE socks the other day. Thankfully DD can get a bit more wear out of her blazer, and the other bits I need can come from Asda and M&S. I’m going with the train of thought that I haven’t been successful this time (I have been previously) so if it does come through it’ll be a bonus.

I've finally received my grant tesco colleague here for 3 kids no email went in around 2am this morning so relieved

Happy for all those who have received it so far, just over a week and we will all know for sure I guess! With some going in today maybe that means that's it for the week and not a Tuesday like it has been.

Ive been following this post for ages, im with Tesco and claimed for 1 child, first time applying in 17 years as i have older children too. And i applied at 9am the day it opened and nothing 😞

I’m Tesco too, first time applying as never heard of it until now. There’s still another payment run due next week, I believe (unless they have used all the grant). Keeping my fingers crossed for yourself and everyone 🤞❤️
