How much is your water?

Three bed semi on a water meter for 3 people is £25 a month.

My friend in the same street is not on a meter and its £50.

My Gas and electric are £330 though.🤦‍♀️

I knew there was no council tax but I didn't realise no water charges either.
Is this likely to change ?
Do you pay for refuse collection?

Why does it vary so much?!?!

Ours has just gone up to £63 a month from £57. 2 bed flat, 3 of us. Unmetered.

Metered supply will be partly based on the size of the pipe supplying your home in mm, terraced , semi or detached and possibly rateable value too.

Very doubtful...there was uproar when water charges were introduced and 85% point blank refused to pay.

We pay for our bins separately but mine are fortunately covered in my rent payment. I think a lot of private landlords cover this for people in apartments.

68 for water per month for a 2 bed bungalow with myself as the sole occupant.

233 for gas and electric

I’m paying £42 a month but my husband has just inherited a house in London and even though the water has been turned off at the mains the daily service charge is still costing us - the last monthly bill was over £30 and the house is empty! When we queried the bill they said it looks like there could be a leak and that’s why it’s so high.

Is that usage or your DD?
