wolf my bathroom is a vast 90cm wide! sneaky I had one of those in my old house, "ooo a corner bath" says me on viewing. They are not as big as they look are they! Perfect for bathing babies, 9mo pregnant me got totally stuck. It wasn't my finest day.

Justanothermile · 04/01/2019 19:33

You're just showing off with your seat sneaky, this bathroom doesn't even have that😂😂

That basic curry sauce recipe on the link looks great - thanks unescorted

Unescorted · 04/01/2019 19:40

The basic curry sauce is indeed fabulous..... There are 4 of them all good. I batch cook them and freeze before the main ingredient goes in. Quicker Than a takeaway and nicer than supermarket ones.

We have a corner bath with a seat only DGCs use it , I hate it want to get rid of it for a walk-in shower

We are dead posh, us ..Grin

venison was Christmas leftovers

Laska2Meryls · 04/01/2019 19:48

H/m left-over venison curry that was. I made a slow cooked base of celery, carrot , onion (lots) ginger, garlic, spices, tomatoes, peppers etc etc. Then added the diced venison , cooked all day and served with roasted cauli and rice /nan for non L/C DH

cheap and yummy

ememem84 · 04/01/2019 19:51

autumn i love legally blonde. One of my fave movies. The bend and snap!!!

Wolfcub · 04/01/2019 20:07

Watching Tom Kerridges fresh start which seems to be a cross between Eat well for Less and his diet programmes.

Lonely I hope it’s longer than it is wide

SnugglySnerd · 04/01/2019 20:08

Moi needs to 2 time first I think.

That bathroom is amazing! Pleased I don't have to clean it though.

I love Legally Blonde. I saw the musical a few years ago and it was fab too. DH and I were just trying to agree on a film to watch this evening. I wonder if I could talk him into it... probably not!

SnugglySnerd · 04/01/2019 20:09

Sorry that made absolutely no sense. I mean the 2 tin!

AutumnLeaves12 · 04/01/2019 20:22

Afternoon ended up busy as went out for dm's b day dinner, my dairy free b day cake i made her was really delicious and everyone loved it so was pleased.

Went back to dm's house and we watched Bridget Jones baby which made us all laugh a lot.

I like legally blonde as well, I think reece wetherspoon is very good in it.

Picked up a px from the dr which was £8 something.

Taytocrisps · 04/01/2019 23:25

Cag sorry to hear about DH. Hope he gets some relief soon.

Seacow Happy second Christmas!

Happier I wouldn't risk the case either, if it's a bit on the large side. Ryanair seem to be getting very strict again.

lilly sorry to hear about your DDog. Hope he improves.

Meadow delighted to hear your good news - that's brilliant! Sounds like it was an ordeal though Sad. Poor DD. It's so hard when they can't tell you what's wrong with them.

Autumn good news for your DH too. It will be nice for you to have some company and hopefully he'll have a better work life balance in his new job.

Unescorted thanks for sharing the link for the curry recipes. I'll check them out.

Laska your venison curry sounds very swanky Grin.

Girlie sounds like a nice afternoon celebrating your DM's birthday.

Meadow Talking to that guy yesterday made me realise that a lot of what I think of as an anxiety is actually repressed anger and frustration. I wondered if you might be like that too at all?

I think that I repress a lot of anger, which then causes physical symptoms in my body, and then those symptoms make me anxious. But it is the anger and frustration underneath that perhaps wants addressed.

The man said that in CBT the idea is to list difficult situations and rank them in order and then try the easiest one first and work my way up.

He reckoned that that meant listing places that I would find it difficult to go and doing the easiest ones first.

However, I actually think it would involve listing conflict situations in my life, and confronting them. There are many conflict situations that I am avoiding tackling, because engaging with them would provoke a mighty argument with a difficult person. Or it might put me on a collision course with society, in the case of political and economic frustrations. As soon as I thought of confronting those problems, it immediately felt intuitively correct and I think I ought to do it. Whether it will make my physical symptoms better, I don't know, but I could always try it.

I wondered if you might be like that, and if I could give you a shortcut by passing the idea on? If you're not, then don't worry about it. It's entirely possible that it's just me.

SnugglySnerd · 05/01/2019 06:45

Didn't watch a film in the end. Watched Jimmy &Jamie doing veganism and went to bed. Didn't sleep very well but just realised I had an Americano at lunchtime which is late in the day for me with coffee plus I'd already had a coffee at home before that. At least the dcs slept well so I didn't have to get up until 6.

Haircut today and I need to return something to a shop that I ordered by mistake.

AutumnLeaves12 · 05/01/2019 06:50

I'm making a list of things that irritate me today and so far it is all inanimate objects.

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/01/2019 07:15

Just catching up

Yeah meadow.

Ggreengrass1 · 05/01/2019 07:17

Hiautumn for balance do you think it would be useful to make a list of what makes you happy too?

AutumnLeaves12 · 05/01/2019 07:24

Good idea Green. I'll do that.

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/01/2019 07:29

Lonely, I have a candy tumble dryer and it's fine.
I agree re the mattress. When are they Collecting it? Don't pay them.
Sorry sneaky, I know nothing about benefits

HappierFlowers you got there in the end and separated.

I'm giving up catching up and commenting. Just going to read, you busy bees

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/01/2019 07:32

Great news about the job stress reduction autumn

WreckTangled · 05/01/2019 07:40

We've got a hotpoint condenser tumble drier. I'm pleased it's still going after ten years but I keep thinking how much more economical a new one would be! Same with our washing machine. We're going to try and save up for new ones before they stop working though Grin

Today I have to go food shopping and get fuel. Really can't be bothered it's just a drag as it's a good forty minute drive away and I'm so tired and hurting lots from walking and yoga yesterday 😴

lifelongfrugaleer · 05/01/2019 07:50

Yesterday, Aldi shop £37 mil insisted on giving me £20 as I took her to do here.
£47 Sainsbury's.

Bad day with mil. She is very unwell with her MH.
