needastrongone · 12/07/2017 18:25

Weird. Can you bcc someone into any communication? DH perhaps, or not engage.

Tell him once more very clearly not to email you directly then ignore the emails sunny. Keep them though in case you need to make a report.

Need Jelly babies are the easy sugar rush of choice apparently in the cycling world. I imagine DofE wold require similar.

Lonely pleased the bike ride worked for you - could you have a stay at home holiday - camp in the garden and such like?

Sorry about your mum coffee, glad you learned lots from her.

Vexed at lots of things going wrong at the minute and quite stressed at the moment. I'm fine but just will be a bit distant.

£6 footy awards tickets, £4 footy, £5 bread and milk and jelly babies, Had a fight with virgin mobile as they want to charge me £34 over data charge. When i asked them if thy had really let me use 12gb of data in 11 days they soon recalculated and i owe £2 more.
Need to get organised for the weekend - 2 x footy tournaments and little mix in carlisle (2 hour drive away). Think i will get a food shop delivered unless i can get to Aldi friday lunchtime.

WreckTangled · 12/07/2017 18:28

Jelly babies are what diabetics use to treat hypos. Best thing around. Approx 5g of carbs in each one. Plus you can buy a bag wth just the pink and black ones in mmmm

WreckTangled · 12/07/2017 18:29

Dd just read the third Harry Potter book in one week and is now onto the fourth. She'll get her sats results Friday.

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/07/2017 18:31

Sunny should have added if he wont stop and /or the emails become inappropriate report him under the harassment law to the police. They take these things very seriously. Citizens advice has n easy to understand bit about it on their website - google harassment law

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/07/2017 18:32

yes wreck we always have a couple of bags in the house (mamil and 2x type 1's)

100yearsdotcom · 12/07/2017 18:41

Star for sunny, but sorry you've been targeted by a creep

Flowers coffee for your dm.

NSD and really pleased I've managed to clear a raised bed and 2 plant pots, then planted up the 2 pots. Will be sowing some veg as soon as I top up the raised bed with some topsoil but will need to buy that unfortunately. Will be totally worth it though!

SunnyLikeThursday · 12/07/2017 18:45

Life Thanks I'll do that. Very good advice.

SunnyLikeThursday · 12/07/2017 18:51

Okay I sent that email and that feels a lot better now. I wondered if there's a Guide badge these days for telling people where to get off. There should be.

SnugglySnerd · 12/07/2017 19:08

I think I need some of your relaxation, Sunny.
Had a really bad day with the kids. The babies didn't nap properly this morning and have been grumpy all afternoon. As soon as I'd settled one I had to put them down to comfort the other one and the first one would start up again. Throughout all this DD1 kept saying "Mummeeeee" about every 30 seconds. I apologised that I wasn't playing with her and she said, very wisely, "It's not your fault mummy". Bless her.
Eventually decided to stick the babies in the buggy and take DD to the park which is about a 15 min walk each way. We'd already been out for a walk this morning and I think she was just exhausted by this point and kept moaning and dawdling. I found it very hard to keep my patience by the return journey.
I'm totally exhausted now but need to sort out tax free childcare/30 hours thing for next term.

Sorry for grumbling.

Cagliostro · 12/07/2017 19:09

I would never get that badge sunny I'm far too much of a wimp! That mum-of-bully (who I have finally accepted is a total bully herself) is now leaving me alone but that was only because she got in a strop about lots of us doing things without her (which we did because most of my friends' kids are scared of hers!). So it's actually worked out rather well for me and I never even had to have The Chat with her (which she never would've listened to anyway). But I still feel wimpy. DD far happier though which is the main thing.

*Today 18:28 WreckTangled

Plus you can buy a bag wth just the pink and black ones in WHAT!!! I knew you could get red and black wine gum bags but didn't know about jelly babies. LE YUM!

Not sure what we are doing tomorrow (last full day). Might go on an open top bus tour thingy. Lots of other places around to visit but all a bit far when we have the epic journey home on Friday. Thinking they'd be better if we had a longer stay here and could go a bit further afield.

Ha, there's a model bird on our windowsill and a seagull just tried to attack it through the window :o

WreckTangled · 12/07/2017 19:14

Yes Cag they're only £1 a bag in sainsbursy. They're berry babies or something.

Snuggly that sounds tough!

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/07/2017 19:36

Well done Sunny. See what happens now

Jelly babies - bleurgh BTW.

Ah snuggly - days like that will happen, deep breath, get them to bed and tomorrow is a new day. Moan away

Taytocrisps · 12/07/2017 20:09

I was back at work today after my holidays and forgot my swipe card so I had to enter my pay number and password into the printer every time I went to print something. Arrghh!

Also, everyone landed at my desk with all kinds of problems they'd saved up for my return Sad

On a happier note, I got home from work and found a parcel from my friend. It was a 'no particular reason' present of a book. That brightened up my day considerably Smile.

Snuggly sorry you had such a tough day. I wish I lived nearer to you so I could give you a Brew and some Flowers or something more practical like letting you have a nap while I watched the kids for you. I hope a sympathetic ear helps.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 12/07/2017 20:26

Evening all Smile

Sounds like you have had a lovely time Cag there is a lovely little swimming pool in Axminster if you get stuck for things to do, should have mentioned sooner!! Have been there once and really liked it as there is a small but really warm pool next to the normal pool, was like going to a spa!!

Sorry to hear about your mum coffee you have had a tough year.

Well done Sunny on your article, sorry to hear about that creepy email though, honestly what is wrong with people?!!

Snuggly you are my hero, I can't even imagine leaving a house with two babies and a toddler ever so the fact you managed that twice in one day is amazing!!

Have had a busy day with work, lots going on there at the minute and felt tired today. Have done a big Morrisons shop tonight as am having a little belated house warming garden party on Saturday!! Got 10 friends coming over Shock have asked them to bring something to share but obviously needed to get quite a bit in as well. Spent £64, am going to attempt to make my first ever pavlova - eek!!

Dd has an old shower spray bottle with water in it and has spent the last half hour going round the garden spraying everything Grin free and simple activity!!

Cagliostro · 12/07/2017 20:54

Thanks girlie I think we may have gone past that pool, as we got the train to Axminster and then a bus :)

We may be going to Seaton for the trams tomorrow. Just realised the Caglets have some toy trams from there as FIL bought them when he visited. Everything is very expensive :o but meh it's a holiday :o

SnugglySnerd · 12/07/2017 21:17

Thanks everyone. Off to bed in a minute which is early evening by my standards. Water spray activity duly noted, Girlie. DD would love doing that.

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/07/2017 21:20

life Well done, better in your pocket than virgin.

£3.60 two cones of chips
£2.80 one ice cream
£36 meal out
£3 parking.

Went to Salcombe. Sandy beaches, warm water. Going back tm.

Two out of three pairs of jeggings no longer fit. I knew I should have bought Davinas DVD with me.

CremeEggThief · 12/07/2017 21:23

I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day, Snuggly.Flowers

Spends: about £33. I went out for an amazing afternoon tea with my former colleagues, at the school I worked at a day a week from September to Easter. They gave us sandwiches; chips and a halloumi and vegetable kebab for me (fish cakes and chips for the others); scones AND cakes! I felt sick afterwards; I was that stuffed! Incredible though!

Coppersulphate · 12/07/2017 22:41

Well done sunny on your amazing thing. It's really good that it's been so well received. Congratulations. Glad you are trying really hard to,relax😀😀😀
Sorry to hear about your DM Coffee. You seem to have learnt lots from her which is good 💐

Coppersulphate · 12/07/2017 22:44

Posted too soon.
Snuggly, I do not know how you do it. Supermum. A toddler and tiny twins....how old are they now? I used to be all day in my pyjamas and I had them one at a time.
Lonely glad you feel better after your bike ride. It's the release of endorphins I think.
NSD here.
HSBC have finally sorted by switch out. It starts on 18th. At that point I will make my official complaint. After I get the switching money.

Wheelycote · 13/07/2017 06:40

Morning all

3.50 spend yesterday for dinner. Must get into a habit of prepping lunch at home for work

You've all been busy, I'll read and catch up Smile

needastrongone · 13/07/2017 07:25

Morning guys.

Hope you are okay Life. Brew

Some lovely experiences/presents for Creme and Tayto. Smile

Fair play to you for sending that email Sunny

I agree with Girlie and others Snuggly, you are a bloody Star for getting through each day at the minute.

Dotcom I've got peas in one of my raised beds and they are doing brilliantly!

Copper. We use HSBC for business banking. They are beyond crap to be honest but the moving of a whole companies banking is a bit too daunting for me to do anything about it Grin

Today I'm hoping to bake. I've got a PT session and a track session and a physio session and a long dog walk with a friend too.

Spends will be.
£16 PT session.
£34 Physio.

DD went to the Great Yorkshire Show yesterday and brought me some cheese, first year I haven't been for a long time.

I did run last night Grin

OP posts:
SnugglySnerd · 13/07/2017 07:39

Copper they are 4 months and 3 years respectively. DH has already left to take DD to nursery and the DTs are still asleep so I'm making the most of a quiet house for a few minutes before the madness starts.

Supermarket later. Need to do a meal plan and write a list

Have a good day everyone.
