Hi, I wanted to be clear about the thread I started before - it's not a swap, so nothing is required in return! It's for the perfectly good uniform items that you might otherwise give to charity. This way we can support each other in our mumsnet community.

I've got several pairs of boys black school trousers aged 8-9 with adjustable waists. Free to good home and I'm happy to post just PM me

Hi everyone, I have girls navy pinafore/skirts and sky blue shirts and polo shirts for age 6 if any one would like them?
I also have several pair of boys navy trousers ages 11.

Hi. Just to say I have posted all parcels out today. Hopefully should arrive this week.

Only thing inhale left now is a pair of new plimsolls black size 11.

I haven't yet managed to have another check though, will post once done.

I have the following happy to post it out, it's all m&s if that helps with sizing:

3 pairs of boys black trousers aged 9-10
6 white boys shirts aged 10-11
3 navy blue girls cardigans age 5-6
6 white girls shirts age 6-7
Boys black socks
Girls white knee socks

Everything else has a logo on it so is no use.

Bit of a long shot, but nobody has any cricket trousers to fit a 14 (well possibly 15) yr old do they?.........or, if it's at the end of the season, maybe a 15/16yr old? ( thinking ahead)

I've got a pair of ladies size 8 LA gear, navy tracksuit bottoms,the soft cottony type.

DD had them in S1 and S2. They have been worn, but they are clean and in decent condition.

If they would suit for PE, send me a PM and I will post out

RandomMess what sizes might your ballet slippers be please? DD2 has worn out a pair since Easter (hole in toe if one, stitching coming apart in other). Her current ones are a 10, but she probably needs an 11. Colour doesn't matter for our lessons. Thanks

I have a load of cloth nappies if anyone wants them, there is a large box full. Random assorted ones - tots bots, older ones, no bamboo, it's all cotton and we have hard water so it will need softening!

Hope it is alright to put this here, I posted in the nappies bit ages ago but no one answered. And we don't have any local charities that want them.

I have a pair of Dunlop Greenflash trainers (lace up plimsoll style) teen boy/man - size 10.5, worn once - burgundy/maroon colour - Will be sending to the charity shop unless someone here needs then. I can cover postage but can only get to the post office when I can (if you see what I mean)

I have two pairs of black trousers age 7 TU (Sainsbury's) with an adjustable waistband. The hem has come down on one leg on one pair but a little hemming will sort it out I will also have two pairs of black shorts age 7 (Debenhams) with adjustable waist too. One pair needs some restitching in the crotch (!) Happy to cover postage. PM me.

Just to say that thanks to a couple of very kind posters my DC are all sorted for uniform.
A huge weight off my mind!

still have 3 boys age 13 short sleeve white shirts - perfect for under a blazer

marking place as not currently at home but I definitely have a couple of age 4 grey pleated skirts and a couple of age 4-5 blue gingham dresses, might have more when I have a look through the outgrown pile

I will have a few slim fit shirts size 15 and a half collar from Moss Bros. Either blue or white (or blue and white!).

DS has to wear business attire for 6th form, but Im happy to send to whoever may need them...

My son is moving up to secondary this September and I am struggling to buy anything so far. If anyone had any navy trousers, age 11 it would be a great help. Or white shirts. Rugby/football boots (size 4). The new uniform is mostly branded with the schools logo which needs buying for a specialist shop unfortunately.
I have (well I will have in 2 weeks!) lots of grey trousers, shorts. White Tshirts. Size 2 football boots. In fact lots of age 8-10 clothes. If they will help anyone please let me know.

ask quietly in the school office : lots of parents get dead sniffy about second hand, but the admin staff know better

and check out which shops sell your logo stuff : some are much cheaper than others

Posted on the other thread too but would be more useful here - have 6 white polo shirts and 4 black trousers, all age 4-5, all brand new - I tried to get ahead of myself buying uniform when I had a little cash spare and damn DS has grown like a weed!

Desperately need some maroon buttons for a school cardigan, all the ones I've seen are too purple, I need browny maroon and I just can't find anywhere and the school is strict on uniform
