My Nan is currently still in hospital recovering from Covid so will contribute to that figure HOWEVER my good news is that she's actually doing pretty damn well for 86 and is only still in there due to needing to regain strength and mobility now so the point I'm trying to get at is even if there are people in hospital with Covid it doesn't mean they are all terribly ill still

Love the good news. My personal good news is that all my parents/step parents/parents in law bar one have now had their first dose, as have my two front line health and care worker siblings. Plus my area is green on the government map for the first time in ages.

And I am chuffed to bits with the NHS and the amazing vaccine delivery. I felt quite emotional seeing queues outside our local testing venue the other day.

Kind of good news - just read a couple of pages of a thread on here about when inside mixing might be allowed again... and they were all actually quite hopeful and sensible answers bar one. I think the mood may shifting elsewhere on the board?!
