Why are we not going into full lockdown again?

Im finding it difficult to understand. I work in a preschool and have a child in YR1.
Personally I think we need to go into lockdown like march but why are we not?
I guess the cost. Why are Boot, the range and shops like that still open, there is no need!

No they weren't correct. They were called scaremongerers because that is what they were doing. And I no longer trust them. Good luck to those who do

Have a look at recent rates from South Africa. It’s currently over 30 degrees there.

It might be that we don't want to listen to the scientists - because the news isn't always good- but they tend to be right, unfortunately, because they have the information and the knowledge.

We need to listen to them more and not less. Even if it is painful to confront their recommendations.

@mouldygrapes probably due to the new mutation in SA, as it’s more transmissible so it may have been less transmissible before in warmer weather but not now.
