Excellent vaccine news - 20 million people will be vaccinated before the end of the year.

amazing news! he might soon be able to move on with the other mess caused by a decent US president and brexit

The vaccine is excellent news though!

I'm not holding my breath about the vaccine- the NHS is still scrabbling around trying to get enough flu vaccine (that was promised to the over 50s in July, to be amended to "available later in the Autumn", presumably not available at all now).

Would be nice if he said non essential shops could open and that children’s sports clubs could restart.

I'm listening to R4 World at One and they're saying the vaccine will be available before Christmas. Will be amazing if it happens.
The stock market is reacting to the news, airline, holiday company shares etc gone up.

Only seen that we have 30m Pfizer vaccines by end of 2021 but that is much better!

Vaccine, have it and you get a vaccine passport so you can go to work.

Either that or proposals for the nation to get microchipped

Ideally I'd love a " we've got a vaccine coming, bare with us until the end of the year and come 1st Jan life can resume as normal " wishful thinking I know

In reality I think it will be waffle waffle waffle, stay at home unless you can't stay at home blah blah blah oh and dont forget to sing happy birthday whilst washing hands, continued waffle waffle waffle

Here's a BBC article but I was listening to the news on Radio 4 at 1 pm - that's where I heard it.

Newspapers said people need 2 doses a couple of weeks apart so 30 m doses = 15 m people

Would be great if it could be held in the carpark of a landscape garden outlet.

Whatever it is, we know it will be about Johnson's needs and not anyone else's.

It’s about the testing in Liverpool I think but vaccine will feature now of course.
