@WhoWants2Know My TSH was recently measured at 5 and instead of treating it the GP recommend I do a couch to 5K.

That's insane. Exercising makes hypo worse, it's the worst advice he could have given you. Grrrr. At 5 you are already hypo, if you can you should get your antibodies tested, as well as FT4 and FT4. You can get fingerprick tests via Medichecks or Blue Horizon, to name two.

@Newjez Sorry to hear about your son, you can't be too careful though, Covid is giving odd symptoms at times so best he gets investigated in hospital. I hope it all goes well. xx

we just received notice that sports for dc will start as well for dc.
but only outdoors. and dangerous sports only for footwork/technique. no contact.

Yes Hashimoto's, that's what I have, too. I had both antibodies very raised. Felt like death warmed up! Seem to have been involved in thyroid-related stuff for years now (well 4 years to be exact!).
