TheDrsWife46 · 14/04/2020 21:09

Checking in.

Okay...im ready.... day 23 in the shit mother house..

LetMeOut · 14/04/2020 21:10

Oh no @TheDrsWife46 are you still suffering. I remember you from the other lungs post. Really hope you start feeling better soon Thanks

Porcupineinwaiting · 14/04/2020 21:23

Evening all. Day 27 here. Onward and upward. Smile

TheDrsWife46 · 14/04/2020 21:36

@LetMeOut Sorry yeah im still here. But just to reassure anyone going omgeeee 23 days i cant manage. My breathing is better, i have the cough and very very tight chest and throat. Ive started antibiotics for secondary infection. I just have very very weak legs, tingling sensations like they’ll give out. Also still having muscle cramps/twitches and just a feeling like low blood pressure or low blood sugar.

But I can sit happily and comfortably in a chair watching tv without being in distress etc. Im just frustrated at still not being able to get back to my life.

stayathomegardener · 14/04/2020 21:44

Thanks for starting a new thread MilesJuppIyBitch great title Wink let's hope this thread brings some really positive stories.

Day 35 or thereabouts.

Starting to improve but still have The Fear so probably best not to get too hopeful.

Egghead68 · 14/04/2020 22:03

Thanks for the new thread. Checking in. Day 24/25. Had a whole spectrum of symptoms but currently: overwhelming fatigue, sore throat, chest pain, breathlessness and low blood pressure.

Hope everyone has a good night’s sleep.

TheDrsWife46 · 14/04/2020 22:11

@Egghead68 have you got a blood pressure monitor or just feel that your blood pressure is low. Because im convinced mine must be low in how shaky/dizzy/weak i am so i ordered a monitor. Think its about the last thing for my kit!

Egghead68 · 14/04/2020 22:40

Hi - yes I have most sorts of monitor going!

fuggyfush · 14/04/2020 22:48

57 days in (unconfirmed, was hospitalised in French alps).

In the last 3-4 days I seem to have stopped getting a nightly low grade fever, yay! Heart rate still too high (ever since 140-170 bpm tachycardia whilst in hospital it's been 100-120), seemed to be improving but then had a blip and it's bobbing around 100 at rest even with bisoprolol. Waiting for referral to cardiology - they think I can safely wait and take bisoprolol, until hospitals calmer and safer. Probably post-viral thing, happened a lot after SARS and some signs of post-viral tachycardia being an issue in China post C-19.

Resisterance · 14/04/2020 22:49

Day 27 here..ffs!

stayathomegardener · 14/04/2020 22:53

@fuggyfush 57 days Shock

Tangledyarn · 14/04/2020 23:10

Signing in..day 40 or maybe 41 (lost track!)

Pinkpather40 · 14/04/2020 23:17

Hi all! I keep dipping in and out of this thread! Day 44 or so!! lost count! :)

So beginning to feel better again in the last two days with no reflux which has been so nice. Still suffering with chronic constipation but working on thAt!

I was suffering with the chest and back pain until a few days ago which I am assuming is all the acid build up and gas which puts pressure on the lungs hence you feel it in your chest?!

I was also suffering terrible dizzy spells too until the reflux stopped!

Not sure what has helped!? I was taking omeprezole in the morning, lots of water, not eating processed foods, wheat or sugar, taking 200 million strength probiotics daily and also started taking a digestive enzyme!! Anyway something has changed so going to keep up with it!

Still wary of doing too much incase of relapsing again but feels good to be able to breath without restrictions!! Long may it continue 😁

Just wanted to share! X

fuggyfush · 14/04/2020 23:19

Despite the 50+ days, I've been feeling reasonably ok for the last few weeks, probably just more tired than usual and the evening fever and tachycardia have been annoying, but I've been able to walk, home school and do some work from home too. So it's not as bad as it sounds.

Moodgie · 14/04/2020 23:22

Signing in, day 40 (I think). I hope everyone has a good night. Sending hugs to everyone.

TheDrsWife46 · 15/04/2020 01:34

@EMichel102 Ive woken up with everything you’ve described in the past. I havent been this bad since two weeks ago on the sofa. In my own bed having taken Kalms at 9pm, I woke just now sweating all over, my whole body buzzing and tingling like every nerve ending is alive, this then set of muscle cramps and I started to get cold and shake/cramp up in my limbs. When I woke DH was practically snuggled into me so petrified that he’s gonna get it whilst Im still this bad because I cant cope with the DD’s on my own like this. I need a wee but I darent get out of bed and put weight through my legs in case I collapse. I have never ever been so frightened as this illness. My chest feels less tight as I lie here but Im going to have to phone a GP soon how long can I ignore neurological symptoms. I just want to cry and cry. There is no way that I havent had coronavirus its practically maimed me what else could have done this.

Shrubbish · 15/04/2020 01:41

Hope you ladies don't mind me asking, but have any of you had a distinct metallic taste in your mouth that wouldn't shift, and so distorts the taste of everything you eat and drink?

Tangledyarn · 15/04/2020 01:54

@shrubbish I haven't but sure it has been mentioned in here before. I just totally lost my appetite.
@TheDrsWife46 Those symptoms are so horrible, I've still got a lot of internal buzzing, bad restless legs and cramps which are keeping me awake.

pinkoneblueone · 15/04/2020 03:09

@fuggyfush thank you for giving me ray of light, I am day 36/39 and feeling like the end isn’t quite near enough

TheDrsWife46 · 15/04/2020 03:58

@Tangledyarn i found a twitter user @miafia who describes the tingling etc after 20 plus days but the pain in my spine and weakness in my legs is making me absolutely frantic that Im gonna end up with permanent damage. I think tomorrow Im going to have to call my GP. Im petrified to go to hospital though.

Tangledyarn · 15/04/2020 04:33

@thedrswife46 think if you need some reassurance from your gp that's fine Flowers for me I feel those symptoms are just by body still dealing with the impact of the virus, it's so new, something that my body has never dealt with before that it's doing some crazy thing in response..and I just keep telling myself that!,
