Love how people have to preserve the evidence as the police try to destroy it

Thank you Janet

I don’t feel this is a reliable source but if real, it’s worrying

Really worth a read. I'm not sure how widely the police will have received this

Xenia · 16/04/2020 14:53

Never, that is a really good list from the police - credit where credit is due there. I am very familiar with the regulations www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2020/350/contents/made and it seems to be to consistent with those.

Someone should tell the Daily Mail that.

They would erupt at that list.

ChristmasCarcass · 17/04/2020 11:33

LilacTree1 I don’t follow Priti Patel on twitter - do all of her posts get derailed by tinfoil hat wearers frothing about North African asylum seekers in Italy? I wonder if it is par for the course for any Home Secretary, or if they are particularly attracted to Madame String’emup thinking they have a receptive audience.

LilacTree1 · 17/04/2020 12:28

Christmas I don't know, I just saw this one when there were about 6 replies, mostly saying they understood why someone would vandalise a police car right now.

ChristmasCarcass · 17/04/2020 12:32

Ah misunderstood - all that has been overrun by nutcases now! Grin

LilacTree1 · 17/04/2020 12:35

What absolute shits that poor woman’s neighbours are. I’m sure they are basking in the glow of their self-righteousness. Utter utter bastards.

LilacTree1 · 17/04/2020 15:31

Really someone should have a word with the neighbours

Ideally Villanelle.

OP posts:
Neverenoughcoffee · 17/04/2020 18:11

If it was sheltered accommodation, the neighbours could have learning disabilities and not realised that she was being helped.

I think the fault lies squarely with the police for the threat of a fine based on a second unfounded complaint.

JudyCoolibar · 17/04/2020 18:18

The police in that video taken by the journalist in the park are really behaving absolutely disgracefully. They had no power to tell him to go home, since he was working, and therefore they had no power to threaten to arrest him. The fact that they crowded round him and tried to bully him, ignoring all social distancing rules, puts them fairly and squarely in the wrong. As the officer kept proclaiming his name and number, I do hope the journalist has entered a formal complaint.

LilacTree1 · 18/04/2020 11:51

I can’t find it now, but last night I saw a video with an officer telling someone he’d make up a charge against him. Anyone else see that?

It was outrageously menacing. Just absolutely shocking.

'You are killing people' WTF.

I felt like crying watching that clip. to be honest.
