We are quite fortunate that we have just 2 little cats, that don't eat masses of food, but if some people have 2 to 4 dogs, and especially big ones, (in addition to some other animals too,) it must be a struggle - and a worry - to get food for them. 
Ditto, people who have more than 2 kids. Worrying about having enough food and supplies for them all, and worrying about meds they might need, etc... ALSO, I know one woman with three kids in nappies. A two year old, and 10 month old twins. Trying to get the amount of nappies she needs (and formula, as she stopped B/F them at 4-5 months,) is really stressful.
Me and a couple of others in the street have been picking up stuff for her when we can, (and for several others who are struggling.) But it's a battle to get into some shops (with all the queues,) let alone get lots of supplies for other people.
I really feel for some people. We have no kids at home, so can only empathise, but it must be a bloody nightmare for some. 
There are many shops out there, and many that sell pet food and all sorts of stuff for babies/children, but some people can't get out very easily at ALL, let alone get out to a dozen different shops.
