Hi all. I'm having a bad day Sad

I have some symptoms which could indicate the onset of the virus (diarreah, chills, extreme fatigue, loss of appetite, chest pressure, feeling wiped out from doing as little as picking something up off the floor) and I'm feeling a bit vulnerable. I'm currently being isolated in the bedroom away from my young DC but if I do have it then they've inevitably been exposed and both have a cough.

Chances are it is CV as we live in a hot bed.

I'm mid 20's but my immune system isn't great and I'm frequently poorly with something or other. I had some health problems last year which I recovered from but my immune system is taking a while to catch up.

Regretfully I was a smoker and that became a crux when I was going through some pretty crap stuff. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about that. Please no doom mongering about smokers, I know it was a terrible habit Sad

I would really appreciate if any of you who believe they've had it would spare a minute to reassure me that they've come through it or know somebody who has.

Hello. I checked in at the beginning of the thread and thought I would update.

I started with wheezing, cough, sore throat and aches 7 days ago. I have not had a temp at all.

I started to feel better around day 5 and really overdid it - pottered around house and got jobs done. Next day I was laid out again and I have been ever since. I am now on day 7 and I am sleeping 16-18 hours a day. Absolutely exhausted.

I really recommend keeping paracetamol going as when I forget to take any the aches and chills are v bad. And don't do too much - take it as easy as you can.

I have also lost taste and smell, and I have an upset stomach, so I've lost half a stone this week. All fairly horrible but thank god i am not needing medical intervention.

Hope everyone else is coping ok and getting through this. It sucks but threads like this have really helped me stay sane.

I just wanted to add to my thread and log some unusual symptoms that I've had this past week, just incase it did turn out to be covid after all. (Praying for antibody tests aren't we all!)

After feeling fine for about a week I developed terrible eye pain in both eyes which radiated to the back of my head. From the front to the back. My eyeballs felt very painful, like I was being gouged in the eyes literally

Today is day 5 of the eye pain and it appears to be lessening somewhat.

My mouth feels very dry and I have a slight return of the metallic taste, but not as overpowering as it was the week of the 21st.

Fatigue is back too, but no cough or temp.

I've just been on another thread (poster asking for experiences of mild symptoms) and I was surprised to see a handful of people relaying the exact same thing about their eyes, so wanted to document that here too.
