Why is the Queen so quiet?

I wish she would say something, even a ten minute video urging the nation to pull together and do what we need to do in these challenging times.

I imagine it would be a boost for older people stuck at home, I know my MIL would appreciate it. She loves the Queen.

I was wondering this. Strange that we haven't had a morale boosting broadcast from a senior royal, given that this is supposed to be the worst national crisis since the 2nd world war.

If she's supposed to be self-isolating due to age, would she want half a dozen TV people in the room with her?

Rumours about Prince Philip are probably because he hasn't been seen in a while.

I think if we go into national lockdown then they will get her to address the nation.

I don't know the answer to the question, she is very old and may feel frail though I doubt she'd admit or show it if it could be avoided.

It hasn't before occurred to me that she should say anything but now that it's been mentioned, I think she might over the weekend, especially if we go into lockdown.
