I'm going to see what my grey hair looks like when I don't dye it. Also everyone will get a chance to tackle nits so maybe they'll become extinct.

Savvyblonde · 18/03/2020 06:42

I've turned off the 5.30am alarm clock. The commute from the bedroom to the lounge means I can get up at 7.55 and be at the computer for 8am. Smile

GuyFawkesDay · 18/03/2020 06:46

When this is all over, nobody will take anti vaxers seriously

thirdpassport · 18/03/2020 06:47

No commute into central London! And local business receiving a boost as people are staying local. There are actually lots of people out walking and going to local shops.

JudyCoolibar · 18/03/2020 07:31

Every appointment in my work diary has melted away. I'll be able to catch up in peace at last.

JudyCoolibar · 18/03/2020 07:33

It's going to be bliss for people with neighbours who are constantly partying with their friends into the small hours.

JudyCoolibar · 18/03/2020 07:35

No sport :-D

Oh yes! I am enjoying the vastly foreshortened sports reports on the radio.

Thisisworsethananticpated · 18/03/2020 07:38

I don’t need to wash my hair , however my tween DC complains when I don’t wear a braGrin

BatSegundo · 18/03/2020 07:53

Less washing - no school uniform and more pj days!

BatSegundo · 18/03/2020 07:54

Less laundry I mean - still intending to shower etc Grin

Pinkarsedfly · 18/03/2020 07:55

Maybe that stupid slug eyebrow trend will do one.

longearedbat · 18/03/2020 08:04

I'm wondering, if we have a hot summer, whether there will be any point in actually wearing clothes?

langkaw · 18/03/2020 08:08

I've broken my leg and have been isolated for 3 weeks...at least now I am no longer alone and do not need to have fomo.

goldenorbspider · 18/03/2020 08:09

Afternoon naps!

MajesticWhine · 18/03/2020 08:10

I no longer need to comply with dress code policy and can wear hoodies and trackies. And no shoes Smile

troppibambini · 18/03/2020 08:19

No school runs or driving to and from after school activities.
No football and rugby kits to wash or mud and bits of Astro turf trailed around the house.

OhLookHeKickedTheBall · 18/03/2020 08:23

@hearttrumpsdiamond a temperature is 37.8+. A fever is 38+. Not much difference but nice to see it clearly defined.

NewMinouMinou · 18/03/2020 08:25

Our neighbour teaches at an all-boys school and he says that finally, “...the disgusting greasy little animals that are teenage boys are washing their hands,”

We might get our gardens done.

Yabadee · 18/03/2020 08:26

DD and I can watch Disney movies on repeat for 2 solid weeks

I’ve already been wfh for a few weeks so have managed to completely gut and redecorate the kitchen. My bedroom is next, then DDs, then the toilets.

Bad things
DP works in London area (were in Glasgow) he’s working at the gas outage in Tooting just now so they’re still going strong. Him and the guys he works with are saying self employed not self isolation 🙈 although they don’t work physically close together and it might be a good time to get Road works done when they’re empty. Just means we won’t see him for a while 😔

I had been doing great at the gym but now it’s closed down. So I’ve ordered some weights from argos and contemplating hiring a cross trainer for a month.

Not sure how safe my job is. I can wfh so am doing that, but I’m in aviation and the company is losing money drastically right now. I’m the lowest paid and last in so just waiting to see.

Time for the keep calm and carry on posters to come back out?

Imstillskanking · 18/03/2020 08:27

I'm so looking forward to delivering much needed supplies at the weekend! I haven't been properly able to "nurture " them for a few years!

My dc are still very young and this has really warned my heart. Lovely

Imstillskanking · 18/03/2020 08:28

*warmed , not warned!!

1happyhippie · 18/03/2020 08:29

Don’t have to stand and make polite conversation with the bitchy woman at work,

No ones eating my sandwich from the staff fridge!

My dad has finally learned to use technology and can now FaceTime and is willing to use his contactless card!

Yabadee · 18/03/2020 08:31

Oh and these which made me smile when I got them in my inbox.

I have found the bottom of the laundry basket for the first time in ages!

No more being air kissed by mere acquaintances

ShowerOfShite · 18/03/2020 08:34

I'm WFH for the most part and lots of meetings are cancelled (local authority who would have a meeting about organising a meeting) Am considering letting my grey grow out finally.
