BruceAndNosh · 17/03/2020 15:20

I have no excuse any more for not sorting my back garden out. (Not a euphemism! )

SleepingIsOverrated · 17/03/2020 15:25

I'll save a fortune on make up.... no point putting it on if only the DC will see me Grin

Ilovechocolate01 · 17/03/2020 15:26

When nappies have run out will attempt potty training again. Also leaving all my cleaning for a while and saving it for the inevitable 14 day isolation

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 17/03/2020 15:26

@BruceAndNosh Grin

timeforawine · 17/03/2020 15:30

No sport :-D

user1483387154 · 17/03/2020 15:33

I dont have to work with somebody on a project who really irritates me. The project was cancelled.

JudyCoolibar · 17/03/2020 15:36

Its shut the climate emergency nutters up.

Well, no, because of the major advantage it is conferring of cleaner air with fewer planes and less traffic around.

Notlostjustexploring · 17/03/2020 16:18

Currently in self isolation with a horrendous cough. 1 I'll save money as I'm not going anywhere and 2) I'll lose weight as my cough keeps making me vomit. Also lots of quality time with the spouse and sprogs. And we'll probably get to do a nice bit of spring cleaning once I've stopped coughing my guts up.

just completely ignoring the worry over numerous vulnerable family members and many cancelled holidays and plans and the impending cabin fever

Nquartz · 17/03/2020 16:21

our house should be cleaner with all this extra time on our hands

Nquartz · 17/03/2020 16:22

Well save about £150 a month on petrol (but not sure how much on gas & electric being in all day)

Orangeblossom78 · 17/03/2020 16:23

Seems to have cleared the pollution, and less planes OP Smile maybe Greta is being heard

starrysimon · 17/03/2020 16:25

Can keep overbearing mother and MIL away from the me and the birth if I do have DD2 in the hospital (due 27th April). Don’t have to share my baby with anyone but DH for the foreseeable future. Can actually recover in peace as a family and enjoy our new baby. No one is coming in my house unless it’s an emergency until this all blows over and local hospital will not allow anyone in aside from father/1 birth partner

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 17/03/2020 16:29

Extroverts will have to fit in with a society designed for introverts rather than vice versa.

And think my DS would actually appreciate an extra couple of months to get up to speed for A-levels, if they are indeed postponed.

ArtichokeAardvark · 17/03/2020 16:32

My husband is working from home until further notice so he'll be around to help wrangle the children into bed every night.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 17/03/2020 16:52

Some of those DIY jobs will get done around the home at last!!

BluePheasant · 17/03/2020 16:54

School Easter fair cancelled so we don't need to panic-make an Easter bonnet this weekend 😆

Nquartz · 17/03/2020 23:25

I'm not doing as much washing. We're all indoors so not getting sweaty, DD isn't getting through loads of school uniform & mainly staying in her pyjamas Grin

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 17/03/2020 23:43

Another one for no meetings at work Grin

Work for the NHS we would have a meeting over a broken pencil

But we are having Skype meetings 🙄 so not totally got away with it

DotBall · 17/03/2020 23:52

Having to self-isolate and work from home means I’m getting through the backlog.

OhLookHeKickedTheBall · 17/03/2020 23:52

I found out the difference between a temperature and a fever. I've wanted to know that for years!

stoptherideiwanttogetoff · 17/03/2020 23:53

The gym is empty! I don't have to book a class!

Youngatheart00 · 17/03/2020 23:54

I can go for a run during daylight hours!

I don’t need to deal with colleagues breath!

I am actually cooking Grin

Lifeisabeach09 · 17/03/2020 23:55

Reduced traffic at work!!!

MrsSnitchnose · 17/03/2020 23:55

Extroverts will have to fit in with a society designed for introverts rather than vice versa

^This. I don't have to make excuses not to 'people' now Grin

Tartyflette · 17/03/2020 23:58

Marathon cupboard-sorting sessions can't be avoided any longer....
