This is total madness. What the hell is the British Government doing????"

I would only add this was at a time when the British government was already in possession of the facts as to the projected scale/impact of the virus on the UK. Absolutely treasonous and I do not use that word lightly.

People should also take responsibility for themselves as well as the government putting in restrictions.

Well the big takeaways from Boris's speech yesterday was 'wash your hands and expect your loved ones to die' so I don't think they're exactly on the ball in this one.

I'm amazed that valuable and expensive footballers are being permitted to be exposed to the virus in this way, surely their insurers wouldn't pay out if any infections occured? Don't their employers have a duty of care? Expect the Courts to be busy, if we have any lawyers left.

I am deeply disconcerted by the fact that Piers Morgan is now apparently the voice of reason- these are truly unprecedented, desperate times.
